My dad has a metal container of Nor-V-Gen leather oil that is over fifty years old. He used to use it on leather boots and we always used it on baseball/softball gloves every year. I gave my gloves away like thirty years ago and they were still nice and soft.

Beautiful 75s brother! That is my bucket list knife. I have a RR stockman that is the 75 size that scratches the itch a little bit, but one day.... I think any of the names would serve well, but I think I would go with "Buck".

Real nice set of 75s, though not my favorite by a long shot that sawcut one is a grade A smokeshow and I wouldn’t kick it out the collection for sure. Raymond Cornelius would be a great name for the ol fella, there is a hilarious story behind that name. Hope you are doing well my brethren!

Since when are rusty blades something to be desired? Am I missing something? Please someone inform me. It just reminds me of hipster fashion geeks paying thousands of dollars for old tattered up carhartt. It just doesn't make sense to me. Case even tells you to keep your blades oiled as to not rust. Someone enlighten me.

There are 2 types of "rust". Grey/black patina actually protects your carbon steel from bad rust (red rust). Anything acidic will rust carbon steel. Fruit, vinegar-base products, even water. If you develop good patina on your carbon steel blades, these materials will not badly errode your blade (aka: develop red rust) which can severely damage your knife blade. And maybe more importantly, it looks cool and we like it. Makes your knife almost act as a living/growing thing as the good patina forms...thx for watching 👀 🫡✌️🙏
