I adopted an indoor senior cat. When I retired, I had time to teach him about being outdoors. It was funny watching him learn what most kittens learn. His personality blossomed when he got so much stimulation. I never did figure out why he could stare at a tree for over half an hour. When he passed, I buried him facing the tree.

He looks much like my Simba. I lost him last 4 years when he was about 4 mths old. A day before he went missing, he stood on top of the entrance gate meowing like non-stop but I ignored him totally bcoz i was busy that day. That made me feel so guilty. I went crazy searching for him for longer than weeks. I hope i'll meet him again in paradise🥺

I gave up on my idea of walking my cats through the streets. They’re scared of unfamiliar noises and I don’t trust people in my town to have their dogs secured (there have been numerous incidents). They love their daily walks in the backyard.
