My Cayman Broke.

My 2007 Porsche Cayman S 987 broke. After developing a very serious rattle coming from the transmission we determined that the dual mass flywheel finally wore out and seized up solid.
Since the transmission had to come off, we ended up replacing a lot of parts in the bell housing. Watch to see more.

I'll have to go back and see if there is a previous video of yours that I've seen because I am already subscribed. However, I don't remember you or that Cayman. When you first told about the rattle and described when it occurred, I thought of the input shaft bearing but I wasn't even sure if it was a manual or tiptronic. I'd say you dodged a bullet with it not being in the gearbox needing a rebuild. You changed the RMS but did you go ahead and change the IMS bearing? Have a great day.

I just started hearing noise in the transmission, so the shop tore it down and find the pressure plate to be seized. Not uncommon.
