I think Silicone by Esham might be the best song he's ever done, which is saying a lot from me because I like all of his 90s stuff. So good!

VodCrack yea i love that song, he had some shit in the 90s, to me his hey days were from '92-'96

***** Yeah I'd agree with that for sure. '94, '95 Esham was untouchable, in my opinion, you couldn't mess with his beats or flow. He's one of my favourite artists these days, even though I don't really like a lot of his stuff post WWW.COM. It took me a while to get into Esham though. I stumbled upon his video for Hellter Skkkelter back years ago and I was like "Man, this is dope, never heard anything quite like this before" but I heard some other stuff and didn't really feel it at the time. It didn't help when I was doing research on him at the time, he was in terrible shape and seemed to have fallen on hard times. This was in 2011, shortly after he put out the Death of an Indie Label thing. But over time, I kept on coming back to him, discovering more great songs and the stuff he did with Natas as well. Before you know it, I've become a really big fan of his and I am trying to get much of his old stuff as I can. It's a shame I don't like his more recent stuff that much but I respect that he's still around doing his thing. He's in good shape now and seems to be happy with where he's at in life which is cool. It's sad that Esham's probably never going to get the credit he deserves for being a pioneer in the horrorcore (or Acid Rap) genre. He also never gets credit for being the first rapper to put out a CD double album, 2Pac usually gets all of the credit for that haha Sorry for rambling on, thanks for reading man!

VodCrack all good my brother, i dont mind it at all, i definitely agree with everything you said, from what i understand, he found god in recent years, but still makes the kind of music that he's known for, to me when he dropped tongues, i stopped messing with him, but i do respect the contribution that he gave to hip hop, and im glad you said about the 1st rapper to have the double album, esham's downfall was him always trying to diss eminem when it backfired on him

***** Cool man. I didn't know he found God but I think he always was somewhat religious anyway. In my opinion, you have to be religious to a certain extent in order to be talking about Satan all of the time. I thought he moved away from the Satanic themes because I think he knew it was stopping him from becoming more well known and a lot of people didn't take him seriously, which is a shame. I never saw Esham's Satanical lyrics to be too corny, he was just writing about topics that many people weren't really willing to do. The track Sell Me Yo Soul from Judgement Day Vol. 2 is great, I just love how picks apart churches on that song, dope stuff. I haven't really heard Tongues properly yet but yeah, it's nowhere near as good as his previous albums for sure. I like the song Mr. Negativity quite a bit though. I agree that Esham constantly trying to get Eminem's attention just made him looked desperate, even if that did lead to Esham's 15 minutes of fame when mainstream media covered with infamous D12/Natas Warped Tour incident. Despite all that though, I'd much rather listen to Esham and Natas over Eminem and D12 any day of the week!

hey i was watching this collection archive and its pretty dope. ou got like 1000 cds. lol btw, Chyna Doll didnt suck, it was one of her more classic albums that had some noticeable flaws but definitely not as well polished as Broken Silence. Ill Nana and Brooklyn's Don Diva was trash. also btw, how much do you think your collection's worth?

Heavy Mental is probably in my top 20 albums of all time...Classic!! Props for playing Jay Z "A Week Ago"! One of Hov's best tracks imo!! I'm sure Kool G Rap used the same beat for "Cannon Fire" on Roots Of Evil.
