The extra flap on the classic bag helps to keep the shape. Single flap bags will have holes at the sides like 19, boy and the shoulder bag u have, and things will fall out. Put a felt in between the 2 flaps when storing it wi help to protect the leather from zip

The extra flap is annoying sometimes but it really help to prevent small things from falling out from the bag at some positions. I use the Gucci marmont and my lipstick, lip pencil constantly slide out of my bag, not with CC classic. The zip really ruins the leather on that flap tho 🥲 such a bummer
