My channel is under attack from Copyright Scammers on YouTube.

I keep getting hit with copyright scams here on KZbin. This means I have to continually take down videos, re-edit them and then upload them a second time.
This video shows a new music copyright scam that I think millions of KZbinrs will fall victim to.
Although I have an interest in kit cars, including Lamborghini replicas, Ferrari replicas, McLaren P1 Replicas and other self-made kit car of other marques, like Porsche, ford GT40 and the AC Cobra, I have always wanted to build my own unique brand, which I call the Cerberus VMR6.

What's the company's name? Don't be afraid to mention them... Would it happen to be "Jukin media"???

Yes I was going to call them out and mention their name, but I thought I'd get hit with another copyright claim. Although their name is displayed on the screen, around the 50 second mark. I've heard of Jukin media, not good. This one is Epidemic Sound, just as bad.

What is not clear is why anyone would pay any money for something labeled as "free". But people can be stupid. And that is a separate issue from you deciding to "promote" other content without asking.. You are not Doug Demuro. If you put content from a bigger channel than you, then you are riding them for clicks. Promotion comes from bigger channels to smaller ones. But... getting paid is what everyone tries to do one KZbin. KZbin pays you for content too. That means everything is a potential income stream. So you are much more in the wrong for using others content without getting permission than others are for being stupid and paying for "free" content. You need to be more careful. People are not going to stop being stupid. And since you are trying to get paid, don't think others are going to stop trying to get paid (others including the nusic copyright holders who lied and charged money for their "free" content).

I agree with most of that, but not the promotion part. The "size" of the organisation doesn't matter when it comes to promoting. Promotion is actually about propagating information. For example, you could have a massive political party or politician, say Donald Trump, who is much larger than almost every American in the U.S., but if "Joe 6 pack" wears a "make America great again" cap, he's only small yet helping to promote a larger organisation. And who knows, my channel may get much bigger over time, and yet I would have no problem at all with a new smaller channel using any of my videos at all, because promotion is promotion. ;)....and yeah you're right, people can be stupid.

@@ProjectSupercar yeah except your example is a politician. And although they want attention just like others here, youtube and copyright is about getting paid and about fair use if not getting paid. If you actually had a bigger channel and did what you did "promote" without permission, your potential punishment for risking that would be far more. But for you, you are already so small that any connections will mostly favor you. Even having this drama and this discussion is a potential boost to your channel (conflict drives drama, drives interest...) But, honestly, complaining (or warning) your current tiny car-loving audience is a bit off-putting, and so is also kinda risky. But you have not much downside having less than 2k subs.... but you might just wanna take your medicine a bit more quietly if you don't want to drive us few away. Building a channel is about the audience liking you. You can be a crusader or you can continue to bring good car building content. Pick one. I know what I want to see. And I am not just one of millions of your subscribers.
