Actually. Thanks for this comment. I am starting to feel very disappointed with my work again and this feeing is really dependent on how other people perceive my stuff. I know being that dependent on external recognition is fatal but I can't help myself and define my self worth through numbers. I hope to find time to step back from this a d experiment freely with my art again, not caring for any perfect outcome. Again, thanks for letting me know. I am wishing you all the best 😌

i feel like she would be the mafia boss of some underground organization lording over her minions and sincerely she gives “bow before me weaklings” vibes (in agood way). the colour scheme is slaying the shirt ruffles were drawn so nicely too i love it!!!

Ohh thank you! The ruffles and stuff were the most fun lol and for her as a character, so the minions would be a chicken family lol

She definitely seems like some kind of cool, icy antagonist that warms up to the heroes over time and eventually becomes an ally! Some sort of leader of an organization- just seems powerful and really awesome!

Aw that's wonderful to hear! The thing about ai is that at first it looks stunning and cool and so but the longer you observe it the more flaws and nonsense you'll discover and oftentimes less is more and ai tends to overload designs

Super nice breakdown and design! I'm definitely gonna (respectfully) steal some of these techniques. Spending too much time on lineart is a big mood, using outline mode for that is really smart

Being 2 months into something isn't long at all and being able to have an opinion about your art already and maybe see some flaws here and there (which we all have) is a sign of improvement. I love it!! Color schemes that are black + white + some color always look great to me. Ofc, a color scheme on a character does nothing without wonderful design and drawing... but THIS does most certainly not lack that, hehe. The way you rendered the eye in 9:40 fascinated me for some reason? It looks simple, but my mind went HUH. Also, I did not expect to see you draw a chicken in a video of yours either but it was very nice to watch!!

Haha yeah the chicken. But we all love chicken right? And I was experimenting with the eye colour off screen and gave it the usual yellow colour but this didn't look right. I am actually a very big fan of really simple eyes. Thanks a lot for noticing this little detail!

I love your work, I want to ask a rather immodest question, I look at the difference between your first video and the video where your style and work have become several times better and are more reminiscent of what is coming out now, and here is the question itself, what became the lever that greatly improved the quality of the work, like you changed your style, or improved your skills in posing or anatomy?

Thank you! I am glad that an improvement is visible. But you have to consider that between the first video and now are years of drawing for almost every day. And that's actually the point of my improvement. I Draw and Draw and consistently analyse my progress. Sie there are times where I feel like I am going backwards but that's just a sign of my ability to observe became better than my drawing skill. So what I'm trying to say is that you just have to draw what inspired you and makes you feel satisfied with your art. I just stop when I achieved some sort of progress. Even if this means to accept a loss. Success will come eventually as well. I hope this makes sense 🙇‍♂️ I am wishing you all the best for your art journey!

Heyyy! Nice to see your comment and kind message here :3 how are you doing? Hope that Christmas, if you celebrate it, will be a pleasant experience. I actually don't know how many OCs I have. I remember 9 of which I Draw only 1 regularly lol I do have 2 siblings and I love fries but rarely eat them sadly. The separate canvas flip is a shortcut which only influences the view not the actual file. So just the view is flipped. I get this when I go to "view" in the top menu :) hope that helps! Hey! Thanks a lot. You mean the pen I use when I draw and simultaneously get the outline? If so, the used brush doesn't matter at all. It's an effect you can apply to any layer ( layer setting in the layer panel). But generally speaking : the g pen is a default brush :) hope this helps!

i have a question - how do you color the inside of the cuff on 3:40 without painting over the outline too? when i use the outline i can never get it to work like yours. great video as always!!

Thank you! The outline function should work no matter what you paint inside. It's important to alpha lock the layer after you defined your shape. Then you can set the colour of your outline and shade the insides of the shape. I hope this will work for you 🙇‍♂️

I’m thinking of straying away from ibis paint X or mobile apps and just to use for future reference what is the art program you use and what device is it used on? And do the brushes you used come with it or is it like pay to get brushes or brushes you just find? Cuz I feel like some of those brushes could help me line some of my sketches.

Hey, looking at your process i noticed you use different brushes then the one you put in your description? I tried to match your lineart with the Kuro Ink brush but its a bit difficult since theyre different, im wondering if youre doing something different to the brush or just have something else?

Hey! I had to remake the original brushes because they got deleted from clip studio. So they might not be the exact same. For some i also couldn't find the brushes anymore so I put alternatives in the description. I set my pressure curve on my tablet on very dort to make them work like in the videos. Hope this helps a bit 🙇‍♂️
