Door 5 is great once you know the timing - basing it on your position and when the poles begin to rise. If you stand about halfway between the left wall and the first spike pole (perhaps a bit to the right of that midpoint) and then look at the rightmost spike pole (the third one) - when that rightmost pole starts to go up, that's when you start running. I'd say it's worth trying if Door 8 isn't consistent since Chucks can suck. Loving the videos, this was really close.

SMW speedrunner here - you should take Door 2 and, for Gauntlet purposes, 5 or 8. 5 can be very safe if you learn the timing, and 8 is relatively safe with cape. The fire from the statues in 7 are based on a global timer, making them effectively random, and very dangerous as a result.

resident evil 2002 on gamecube, the first og remake is an awesome survival horror. lotsa replay value, lotsa different challenges. real survival, invisible enemy, best ending, unlockable weapons and costumes for either character. if no one has suggested it yet. amen by the way to the smoked salmon mention, it tastes like candy. people who don't enjoy seafood or fish are missing out ! 😄

a good friend of mine owns every silent hill game available. a long time fan of the franchise. it may be another avenue to look into and venture on. i'd vouch on it even though i haven't even played any of those games yet. only seen the first movie and it's definitely a worthwhile investment of time to experience 🙌
