Definitely keep her, low miles, previously owned by a senior, very good condition. I know you would take care of her the right way. Selling her you don't know if the buyer has that same car caring like you do. As a car lover, I wouldn't sell her. I always wanted that generation Fleetwood. I had a 1991 Cadillac Deville Touring Sedan, and a 1996 Cadillac Sedan Deville. She's basically a living room on wheels, a sofa in the front and back. Putting the white walls on, and the maintenance you doing just put a smile on my face. 😊

Keep it and use it to commute to Terre Haute when you don't need a truck, you'll get comfort, and fairly reasonable gas mileage for what it is.

Robert here, Randy keep this beauty. I had a neighbor who went to Germany for 9 years, I brought it back to life, mouse nest not rats, air conditioning problem, tires needed replaced, radiator flushed, wash and waxed....replaced battery, detailed engine & interior. Have it today, head turner today. Wouldn't part with this car, handing it down to my kids, never to be sold. Kids have many names for this unbelievable looking treasure. My throne has wheels, white walls too.1996 Fleetwood B. too, 71,100 miles, changed oil too. But so comfortable 😌, best American built Caddy I've driven & same white but pearl, chrome & gold trim!!!

Well Randy, I would say keep it, but I also think you should keep all these goodies lol. I'm a buyer, not a seller and I do realize we can't hold on to everything. But definitely try to keep that big old caddy as long as you can. I Love that car. True American full size cars are hard to find these days, especially being up in Michigan
@cliffordkinnear9705 Жыл бұрын
The Hankook Whitewalls are perfect! For the thermostat housing and gasket ALWAYS use Permatex #2 rtv. It's non-hardening, exactly the type of rtv for cooling systems because of the cold-hot cycles of the radiator/water pump/thermostat and housing. That's good you flushed out all that rusty water crap nasties. With new coolant you'll have excellent freeze protection.

Randy, please keep this car! This is a true Cadillac. Last of them. You have a very good clean example. Detail it, paint the roof and tint the windows (20%). Keep this car and let it be your Sunday car, "Dap Daddy" car and also I think this would be a good car for you and MWM to travel in when y'all visit local auction yards. Hell, drive it to funerals and weddings too. It's also a great car to ride the family in on a few evening cruises when y'all get bored at home.

I feel your pain. Lost my front tire on the way to the tire shop yesterday. Hit something in the road on my way home one night but she didn't go flat. The tire shop is only 5 minutes from the house, so I didn't bother with the spare. Made it 3 blocks away from the shop before it burst.

Hey Randy the Cady is looking sweet, I think if you tinted the windows it will make the white color and white wall tires POP even more and make it an even better cruiser in the summer not having to worry about the Sun heat inside the car.

Like I mentioned about the Citation on another video, if certain cars make you happy and you're enjoying them keep them around for a bit and have fun with them. You have many other vehicles rotating through for content. If you're attached to a few keep them for a bit, months, maybe a year, no shame in having something you like! Heck, even if you do additional work to them there's more content to put up. It's not always about the money you have in them if you like the vehicle.
@JuniorFan08 Жыл бұрын
Totally agree with you on the white walls. They make a huge difference in the way the Caddy looks. I personally hate black walls and would have whites on everything I owned if I could get them in the right size. I put 4 Hancooks on my '72 LTD a couple of years ago but when I needed new whites for my '71 LeSabre last year, I bought some Nexin (Nexon?) white walls off Amazon. The LeSabre had some Generals on it from 2001, so I got 21 years out of them. LOL! - Yeah, I know, but I hadn't driven the Buick more than 500 miles in the last 10 years and not more than 7 miles from home - just to the marina where I found non-ethanol gas. It needs some mechanical work so I just run it enough to keep things lubricated.

Use GoJo Hand Cleaner with Lanolin and a soft brush to loosen up and clean the vinyl top ! You will be amazed at how easy and clean it will be ! I did it on my 1975 Lincoln Mark IV and it was like NEW !!! Rinse with power washing !!! You might not need to have it dyed at all !!!

I understand wanting new cars for content. However, the SEMA Stang is a special car and one of a kind. That's the one you keep. Even if you can't drive it all the time. You might have to put it away and store it every so often. But, I gaurantee every time you take it for a spin you will be thankful you held on it. It is truly a collectors car.

If you want to make that front seat soft again.! D&L hand cleaner works great because of the lanolin. Use a Terry applicator work it into leather and buff it off with micro fiber towel . You will feel the difference. The lanolin moisturizes the leather . This was recommended by a antique car upolsterer.

Hey randy you are gonna want to fill the heater core with C-L-R. Calcium lime rust . Let it sit a few hours. Then use a air compressor to blow out the c-l-r. Then flush and blow out with air and water back and forth. You were so close you. Might as well have changed the water pump. The fins might be missing or rotted ". Worst case the radiator is plugged at the bottom or half way .

All my Cars had the Trailer Towing Option, and only had 1 Electric Fan, and one Mechanical Clutch Fan. If there was a Rodent Nest under the Home Plate, I bet they were also Camping in the fenders between the Wheel Well and the Firewall If you want to control where the HAVC sends the Air, replace the Control with one from a 94-96 Buick Roadmaster.
