Pro tip: Check your brake reservoir to see if the fluid was crystalized. Sometimes it's hard to see and coats the inside of the reservoir. Common issue with 360's that don't have frequent brake fluid changes and sometimes leads to a blockage in flow to the calipers. I've had to replace ABS units that were completely blocked and even the ports on the master cylinder or brake hoses can be effected.

The BRZ/FRS platform is what I look for in a sporty car, it's not crazy fast, but it handles well, and you can run it much closer to its limits without getting into trouble than you can the C8 or Ferrari.

With your suspension so low and as you said it’s effective handling… suspension travel might be the problem with your ABS kicking in, if the front suspension bottoms out going 100 stiff also your rear suspension can be topping out, both situations can remove almost all grip and kick in the ABS.

Vin, Paint it Red! But there are many beautiful shades of red that Ferrari uses. There is Rosso Berlinetta, Rosso Magma, Rosso Maranello Opaco, Rosso Scuderia (used on the Stradale, and of course Rosso Corsa the standard red. But I'm kinda bored of that one.

The reason there are no super cars at track days is budget. If you want to make 4, 5 or 6 outings a year to the track consumables are expensive (305 width tires and brembo pads and cross drilled rotors aren't cheap), if anything breaks it's expensive, if you're not going to wrench and do your own track prep (and a lot of these old guys with these cars wouldn't) it's expensive. Personally I would keep a Ferrari for the street and canyons and a ratted out old MX-5 or C5 for the track. My rule of thumb is the price of your track car should be 50% of what ever your daily is.

brakes felt that way because of the vacuum assist. Delete the booster, and resize the master cylinder appropriately, you should be able to get the consistency of manual brakes without the pedal feeling like a fuckin brick wall and requiring too much effort to street drive

Great video Vin, been waiting for a track experience related one since you got the car as not many videos out there of ppl tracking "base" model modena's I'm legit very confused why everybody doesn't like or feels the 360 brakes are very underwhelming. Have tracked my 360 in hot and cold ambient temps and never once felt the car was "out of brakes" , I'm only using Endless street/track pads and Amsoil racing brake fluid. This is even in direct comparison to a dedicated time attack car with manual brakes and no abs, agree it doesn't really have a hard pedal or super crazy feel to modulate.... but just pick a braking point engage pedal as quick/hard as possible, abs will most likely engage and drive through it.

Was just thinking about comparison like that after I saw your 360 at goodvibes, and here you are! GR86 is out of this world. Surprised at the 360 pace, not bad at all! Be careful with abs icing, it could be really dangerous. Lost my car due to this just recently, and lucky to be alive. Most likely it's due to way more grip and stopping power than ABS is set for to - stock 215 tires and "civil" pads are nowhere neat your setup
