Considering all the weight that's (usually) on the back of these builds, If I we're to build one iI think i would balance the boat directly between the 4 barrels during the build process and possible add an extra foot or 2 length to the front of the boat maybe even a curved section like a half stop sign shape for ascetical reasons. though... that looks pretty dam good with that astro terf I must say. =D

Perhaps 2 additional barrels at the end of each pontoon or, OR... recessing the motors inward, in any case having the barrels extend beyond the motors may be a idea for the Ver. 2.0. When metal detecting we have kind of a unwritten code of conduct, you don't leave trash behind. We try to leave everything better than we found it, including any holes we make. You cut a sod plug over the target and remove it. Place a piece of plastic or a grocery bag on the ground to put any dirt on from a hole. When done the hole is reassembled with pride and effort it will make it virtually undetectable. Any trash we find, we keep it and dispose of it properly. I would think this is especially important in a water habitat. I imagine that by removing any disturbed metal, you reduce the chance of heavy metal poisoning to the aquatic life.
@chud3274 жыл бұрын
Some of the metal we picked up that day was removed. However, I don't know that steel is poisonous and It is really difficult to haul rusty rebar that is 20 feet long. I do appreciate how you take care with you metal detecting and every other magnet video of mine ends up at a trash can. Thanks for watching.
