I would divorce her right after I found out about her betrayal. Waste of time. Even after she canceled her date, it's obvious, she will cheat in the future. She has it in her. The hubby has no dignity, whatsoever.

Thats was absolutely the wrong thing to do ....he basically rewarded disrespect....all these elaborate backflips to prevent the wife from cheating are showing her that he feels...lucky to have her....if she realises that she ll think she is the prize and try to do it again at a later time cause by his actions she is better than him and she deserves better....the only winning card is a clean break....

3 times here. never had any desire to take them back. Single of over 20 years now and retired. My money is now all mine, no sharing as in a marriage. I do what i want, when i want, for as long as want. Thing is they did not have to work. If they did that money they brought in was all theirs to spend as they wanted. Once in awhile i think maybe should find someone and get married again, but i come to my senses real quick like and remind myself i dont have to share one dam thing, never again.

No, she had intended to cheat. Her bags were already packed. All it took was a few flirts and compliments to convince her cheating wasn't a big deal. Even after you confronted her she intended to cheat. Now she knows you know. She will hide it better. She will always be thinking about it and looking for a new husband. She will divorce him for someone better or wait until you get here pregnant then cheat in him. It's just a matter of time.

Diffecult to comment on this story except to say the husband could have intercepted much earlier. It shouldn't have taken the threat of divorce to get her to change her mind, her respect and love for her husband should have achieved that.

i think my problem is that even after being found out the wife here ran to consult with her potential affair partner and didnt change her plans at all. this is where i serve the divorce papers. if she cant show any kind of shame or remorse after getting caught and she continues having communications with the ap then i dont think i would want to save anything.

What a crap! After telling the hubby she would never accept adultery, nonetheless continue with her very own! On a personal note, once I was aware of adultery, looming or consumed, it would be over for me. No talking, no begging,no treats, just the end!

Respectable... So respect op's decision too. I personally think this is one of the rare cases where the cheater owned up to everything they did and clearly worked to punish herself. Actually she did it soooo smoothly THAT I THINK IT'S FAKE LOL

My initial impression about the way he handled this was, "What a f***-ing idiot!". Why threaten her with cheating with his own secretary (Katy)? I would also point out that this type of behaviour with his own admin staff is completely unethical and this was grounds for removal of Clark from his job, and could easily have been the same for him. Why not just present her with the consequences of a full-on divorce and complete exposure of their extra-marital activities? This is what clearly worked. This, and the extensive counselling to get past this.

The one thing i find rather annoying is the Pi Ross mentioned there were other married and unmarried women involving this piece of crap,how is this shit show continues and no one has seriously punished this wormwood
