I listened to a lot of “emo” alternative/punk bands of the 2000’s. I still enjoy them all but I think MCR stands the test of time out of them all. For vocals, musicianship, and artistic direction. Gerard’s vocals cannot be touched and the band’s instrumental abilities and creativities are next level. Doing a vocal cover of any MCR song is the ultimate test of range and perseverance. Gerard would be proud of you on this one. Fantastic job.

Thank you! The best piece of advice I can give is to stay relaxed. Find the placement for the tone you want then start to raise the note, adjusting the placement slowly as you go to ensure you aren't straining, then keep practicing until it becomes muscle memory and you can shift the notes as needed!
