That fact that they were dismissing the comparison of them with big bands like Nirvana, basically like "they probably like most bands won't ever become multi platinum artists but who knows on their next album, maybe they'll be noteworthy". Then the black parade came which is a multi platinum album and sure as hell is more than noteworthy

What's funny is I put this in my 'watch later' before knowing it's significance. Then, a week or so later I googled Alex Saavedra after learning he's the Eyeball Records guy, and saw this in his IMDB credits. Edit: ok, what is this editing? This may be a ride. (40:44) this is very interesting (57:56) I wonder if there's any record of this online I'm really glad TBP had the success and quality that it did, based on what was said here. If the anticipation hadn't been met, that portion would be unfortunate. Good video. It's nice to see some perspective from people in Eyeball and WSOU and just insights into genuine interactions and personalities that are exclusive to these peoples' recountings
