@@LoveAngelesMusic I don't think they would have come back to perform if their hearts weren't in it anymore. Money can definitely motivate people, but they have always seemed to be the type of band to not care so much about that. They are in their 40s and are still going as hard as they can (for their age) in their performances, at least they did at the show I went to.

Killjoys was really good. People don’t like it because it’s “not emo enough” Nanana is amazing! It reminds me of Guns and Roses and other classic rock bands. People need to learn how to accepts things they don’t like.

I'm glad I met MCR by the end of 2004 and that emo trash wasn't a thing yet, all of that emo bullshit took me by surprise a year later, it was like having new fans claiming the band was something that it was not, anyway by the begining of 2009 emo was dead and none of them cared about MCR anymore. MCR was going to release Conventional weapons in 2009 or at the very begining of 2010, in 2009 they performed "the drugs" "kiss the ring" "death before disco" & "Desolation row" for the very first time but they scrapped the album and came up with "Danger days" later. Gerard way did not write "The umbrella academy" after the break up, it was released in 2007 during the black parade tour.

They didn't fall, they broke up during their peak. It was a smart choice, making fans love them at their best and wanting more even after they broke up. For the future reunion plan, they know the fans will always there for it.

There's so much wrong with this video. First off, the danger days album "only" sold 1 million. As if that's bad. Many bands struggle to sell anywhere near that there entire career! Even if parade sold 4 million that's not a mark against them. Linkin Park's first album sold 24 mil, there next one sold 12. Such failures! Second, saying making music wasn't fun anymore implies AS A BAND. They might have had creative differences. That doesn't mean they stop making music entirely. His solo album sounds nothing like MCR. Come on. This is just lazy writing on your part.

You skipped right over Conventional Weapons! It was supposed to be the 4th album but Gerard wasn't feeling it after they recorded the whole thing and scrapped it. Went out into the desert and decided to write a comic book concept album instead and started over. Bob was not into the new format so he left the band. So technically the albums should have been Bullets, 3 Cheers, Black Parade, Conventional Weapons, Danger Days, Paper Kingdom. Later Gerard said he only ever planned for 3 albums and thought MCR would be done after black parade, so that kind of explains how all over the place they were after that album. I hope Gerard learned something from Andy when he helped him with his solo Andy Black record. Andy is sober and doing well in BVB, it's possible to be both! You can do it!

Bro, you can't do the story and act like you have any type of real knowledge of the band and then botch the name of the new release, calling it The Foundation Decay. It's called The Foundations of Decay. It's close, but it wasn't quite as bad as a contributor on the latest Lynyrd Skynyrd documentary who said, Skynyrd has done 6 albums and 80 - 90% of those songs were top tier. He then, almost in the same breath announced that one of the great ones was Gimme Two Steps instead of Gimme Three Steps. pfft

Love Angeles - my prediction sides with you, right now. I'm a bit confused as to why MCR has decided to release more music. Many fans are really excited and I'm excited for them but based on what hints on YT the band has released....it seems, IMO, more hype, at this point. I wish them well, I do, but I feel like they are trying to re-live a bygone time. Not sure if it's middle-age creeping in, or what. Since you released this video, has your opinion changed? RIP Bob Bryar. Like the song says: If there's a rock n' roll heaven Well you know they've got a hell of a band. ------When it's my time, I look forward to hearing you play.

MCR hit halfway through high school for me. I loved Cheers and TBP, but Danger Days wasn’t for me. I thought this one wasn’t for me, there’s so much good music coming out in the punk rock scene, I’ll just wait for the next one… Anyway, it really is crazy how much of an influence this band has had on me and the rest of the world with really a minimal output. 4 albums, sure. But no one knew about Bullets, and Danger Days was mixed. Essentially two albums became our emo anthem and actually got radio play and some mainstream clout.
