That was waayyyy before the black parade. He was pretty much sober during the parade era, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were drunk. It's quite usual for bands to have some booze to calm their nerves and let loose before a concert.

Fletcher Smith he got sober after three cheers and was, from what I understand almost completely clean after that. So i think he was just out of breath from performing (also thing song is so hard to sing tbh just mouthing the words is tiring) most definitely not drunk, but maybe the band had had just a little alcohol, but from what I know he was pretty clean during this era. I don't mean to be offensive, I just wanted to share with you what I knew? If that makes any sense ☺️
