The chord, the second time around, at the 8:37 mark is actually an F#dim add7. Here is how you fret it: E string at the 5th fret; B string at the 6th fret; G string at the 5th fret; and the D string at the 4th fret. You can clearly hear that "F" note in the chord and the dissonance and "tension" it creates. Very cool. You're welcome.

Thank you, Karen. You're right. Funny thing is I've played like that before but completely forgot about it. Thank you for pointing that out.

Kool. But, the first chord sounds off maybe try different chord versions for this song as it sounds more like a jazz tune.

I'll look into it.

Try playing the F#maj7 like this: Hi E string on 1st fret; B string on 2nd fret; G string on 3rd fret; D string on 4th fret; on the fourth "la", play an F#6: E string on 2nd fret; B string on 4th fret; G string on 3rd fret; and the D string on the 4th fret. So, the song starts out, "La, la..LA...la, la, la", right? Play the F#maj7 on the 3rd "LA" (the "LA" that I capitalized). Play the F#6 only on the 4th "la", play an F# on the 5th "la", and a Bmaj7 on the 5th "la". Hope that makes sense,.
