We went on Ventura this October to the Canary Islands. The crew onboard this ship were absolutely lovely. Friendly and helpful. The Stewards were absolutely wonderful. Chatty, caring and just sweet. The staff in Havanah bar were coming up to take our orders and bring them to us. The head chef in Saffron was so helpful with my Sons Milk and Soya intolerances, and would come and find us to take his order and see if he could make a free from version. He would send his meal up to tue buffet if we decided to skip Saffron. Just fantastic. So maybe it depends on the staff at the time? Or maybe we were just lucky with our experience.xx

Good informative video although describing the family as being “kicked off” the ship in the title seems unduly pejorative to describe the diversion to Malaga port and the medical evacuation.

Thanks for watching! Cruising from the UK with Celebrity is great, but from America it seems to be fantastic 😊

Why would you suppose the cruise line has to arrange everyting for you madam?? you decided to go on a cruise with a sick kid, what else do you pretend? Nurses must stay in the ship for other emergencies, you are not he only one there... Really.!
@keith64008 күн бұрын
This lady did not embark with a sick kid. She went on a cruise with a child who has a medical condition managed by medication which kept it under control. Whilst on the cruise the child has his first episode and the on board doctor felt the child should be disembarked for higher medical care than the cruise ship could provide. In terms of medical staff disembarking with the patient I was on a recent cruise where the ship about turned and sailed back to Cartagena. The doctor disembarked with patient in the pilot boat sent out from port to offer a continuity of care. The ship waited while for the doctor's return where we resumed the sailing. All very logical and did not affect the other passengers at all.

@@MrAlklein I think a lot of KZbinrs are like that, they just speak really fast scram everything they can get into the videos. Or maybe it’s just a Gen Z thing that they speak really fast.

Nothing condescending about this comment at all.

I understood her clearly and I’m American. She’s speaking at a normal speed.

Wait, the guy stuck his finger in your food and told you it was fine?? Who does that?? I wouldn’t wanna eat raw chicken either. That’s salmonella waiting to happen. My nephew was on a cruise and he got E. coli. He was miserable.
