My son elaborated why he doesn't want to go to creche and what they did to him...his been out of creche for 2+ years,why I believed him is because his that child that always in tune with his emotions and fears....hence I always listen to him...I wasn't listened too so I owe it to him to listen,he has developed and improved so well at home...

This is my cousin, and this trauma has caused a lot of stress for the family. The Dr said the baby was burnt 2% and when sindi showed the magistrate the pictures of the child they also opened a case for the doctor.

She did not tell the whole truth in this interview, maybe because the case is still ongoing. Cause she didn't even mention that the first Dr was paid for by the principal and his the one who said burns are 2% and discharged the child. He was supposed to refer the child to the hospital in the first place. Then they went to another doctor when they saw the child was in immense pain. The Dr's from JHB were even shocked ukuthi why the child was not referred to them in the first place.

At 7 years old, I was subjected to one of many horrific acts of racial abuse. 😥 My grade 1 teacher took my brand new jersey that my parents had just bought for me, took a marker and scratched off my names off including my surname. She then replaced it by writing the name of a white girl in my class. She then gave it to that white girl , who proudly took it and I watched her arrogantly wear MY jersey, stretch out it out and destroy it right in front of me. That teacher said whilst she was doing this that black people don't deserve any resources. 😥 Some people don't deserve to be anywhere near children. 😡🤬

I'm 30 now and I still remember how I was treated at creche. Simply because those care takers had issues with my mother. Stole my earings during nap time, refused when I wanted to use the loo just to name a few. It's sad. I told my mother and went to go live with my father in a different town. We are not okay, as a society.

I'm so sorry Keba, me too. I remember everything that happened when I was in grade 1. People must know that kids never lie, please believe what your kids tell you. Never doubt their stories. I'm. 40+ but still remember those teachers who treated me badly in grade 1 to 2. Normally we had same teachers for different grades. Unfortunately I was raised in an environment where adults are always right. Today no one can take an advantage of my kids, nieces and nephews. I have a very dark skinned gorgeous nice, she is 12 years old now. When she was 9,her teacher use to call her "mnyamana". As I told them to report to me everything that bothers them, at school and even at home. She told me that as she is very intelligent in the class, she always get correct answers and the teacher use to say, "Keep quiet wena mnyamana cos I know you always have correct answers". Obviously the kid was embarrassed as other kids use to laugh and call her the same. I made a rule that every weekend, everybody must sit around the table and tell everybody about her or his week.Anyrhing she or he liked or disliked, at school and at home. That's where my niece told me about her teacher. Yooh I got angry and I went straight to the school to talk to her and threatened to report her in the department and warned her, if she victimized my niece, I would remove her from the school.,and make sure she's dismissed. She apologized and promised to stop. I asked my niece she said she is happy and the teacher is now very kind and caring towards her. Let's defend and believe our kids. They are so small to lie. They have no reason to lie. Adults lie.

my little niece would cry hysterically when her mother (my sister) was walking her to creche, my sister didnt understand why she just thought my niece just didnt like school, then a lady approached her one of those days and said when a child cries like that it's because something is happening at the creche. So my sister started inquiring more with my niece asking her why she didn't want to go and my niece would say "the teacher is beating me" and also describe in detail how... we believed immediately that the beating must have been excessive and abusive. luckily we caught on to it early enough, pulled her out and took her to another creche where she loves so much... i dont understand why some people who end up working in this industry are people without the character traits needed for such a job.. taking care of kids requires so much patience and care. It's just so sad ..

Yhuuu this is very traumatic. My partner's friend's son broke both arms at crèche. He never wanted to go back to crèche again, only to find out that the educator beat the poor boy up because he didn't want to sleep during nap time. The x-rays of both arms came out showing fractures in both arms for a baby younger than 5 years💔😔 Hayi shame being an educator needs people who love children, not just because you've been unemployed for so long or you desperately need a job. Nawe you wouldn't want anything bad to happen to your own child.

My mom left me for work with my nanny when i was 1 year old,she came back to a burnt child.i was hospitilised for 3 months and i also got patched because it was too bad..my scars on my arm and thighs are not going anywhere and nothing happened to the nanny, she apparently just apologised and life went on.

Please make sure they have the right papers, make sure they are registered with the government and apply to the regulations, such crèche usually make sure that they take care of kids. I hate to say this but also crèche owned by white people are also good

Unemployment is a starter of such because people go do quick course that allows them to work with kids & people in general, being a child minder means you will wipe noses,bums & care for children and that should not make you angry nor disgusted ,even some nurses are horrible and question is you went& trained to be horrible to people you are meant to serve😳...millions of people with bigger hearts are sitting jobless/ hopeless because of no "qualifications" ,but a monster sits in a position with "papers" and abuses ENOUGH!!!

@@mphohappiness1736 yeah you’re right, but some caregivers are cheaper than crèche. In my case I just decided to open my own business so I can watch mine myself. Once they can talk I’m gonna be singing the abc, days of the week, head shoulders knees and toes, twinkle twinkle little star until with them so that they don’t fall behind them once I feel like I’m ready I’m gonna let them go to kindergarten. Then I’m gonna peak around the school at any random time, just cause I’m like that! This for me won’t be too much of a task cause doing such things for the greater good is in my nature apart from all the horror stories I’ve heard and witnessed
