i feel like the lack of deaths removes the main message genocide route had in the first place, the vicious and selfish curiosity (turned determination) being the thing to drive the player forward. the fact that sans remembers the peaceful version of frisk and has to witness the lengths this new timeline frisk is trying to go to find out more.

We have the same childhood with Undertale. The animations, the AUs, the animation and comic dubs, the covers with lyrics... It was one heck of a time. I even started diving back into AUs lately. I mostly experienced french comic dubs though since it's my native language. And the Chara version does have a french version. Well the Sans and Frisk versions too.

In the original there was still frames of chara killing toriel and papyrus and it works but seeing chara just driving the knife into toriel was brutal and even tho we didn't see her cut off papyrus head but just seeing his body go limp and fell down on the floor like that is chilling we don't even see his head just like body.

The original was already amazing, 8 years ago and it still held up in terms of animation against others, it was a surprise knowing Clara was going o eventually re-animate it, she did some streams about it and with the final product? She COOKED. Time flies fast but damn if she keeps delivering. The fact she was only 15 and still managed to do an animation that got so popular is insane. Absolute cinema 🙏

We're so back. Giving me my high school vibes with this one. I didn't have a smartphone until I was 18 in Aug 2016. What I had back then at 17 was this purple tablet I kept tucked away in my school jacket's handwarmer, and I had the original Sans version of Stronger Than You downloaded & on repeat often throughout my Senior year! I still love Undertale to this day and it's just amazing to see the creators and animators growing up alongside the game's age.

It's funny. Stronger than you (Frisk ver.) is the only reason i ever figured out what Undertale was. I wouldn't be a game developer nor would I of found a game i was so truly in love with. Im very thankful for Undertale and everything it did for me.

I'm gonna be honest, I was born in 2008, and I NEVER came across that animation. idk if I was watching yt at the time of 2015 to 2016 (I would've been 6 or 7 years old so yeah probably) but I never came across it. either I wasn't an undertale fan, didn't know what undertale was, or just never saw it, but I do know I was a huge sonic and mario fan back then. still am, although I lean more into sonic now. so if I had seen a sonic animation that I absolutely adored getting a remake, I'd feel nostalgic, too. and now that I have seen the animation, I wish I'd seen it back at that age.

There's more than three cover versions of that song there's one with Sans Chara frisk toriel papyrus undyne toriel X I can't remember his name and then there's also the swap version which is the swamps and swap papyrus and there's also under swap Sans in underswap Papyrus there's actually a lot of these that are out there you just have to end up searching the right stuff to find them I listen to a lot of different versions of stronger than you most of them are from undertale
