Headcanon Remake Chara is the same one from 8 years ago and has been doing the Genocide Run over and over again for the last 8 years straight it’s why in the original Chara died multiple times while Remake Chara beat San’s in 1 attempt

Something I recently noticed whilst watching the reaction: Has anyone noticed how in the original to me it looked like both sans and chara were both not giving their all. Them slashes in the original were the weakest slash I have ever seen same with sans, those attacks were not the type of magic attack i would say is “giving it their all”. In the remake the slashes were given with POWER and well DETERMINATION, and sans’ attacks were bigger and had more intent on killing chara.

yeah Sans seems a lot more jaded in the first one, he seems to sigh often and his attacks are always a bit the same (for example when he throws his bones from right to left it's a bit repetitive). I like that in the 2nd there is a lot more diversity in his attacks and that they "interact" more with the characters, for example when he uses it to be able to prevent Chara from hitting him or Chara who jumps on the gaster blaster

My theory: Original animation was from the POV of the person first time fighting sans Remake was from the POV of person who comes back to undertale after years (you can see in remake chara is taking more enjoyment fromt the fight with sans than in oryginal)

My one biggest gripe with the genocide path is that at the end of it? It all gets taken away from you, somehow there's this greater and scarier monster than you that's been puppetting you somehow and it just kills you and make things awful forever? Like, how are you supposed to feel like a true monster if the end utterly robs you of the responsibility of not just your actions but your choices as well?
