Ok, so I'm a Mexican-American and the first time I ate sushi it came with a small cup of wasabi. Me being me, thought the wasabi was guacamole, so I took a moderate chunk of wasabi and ate it by itself. Worst mistake of my life. Unfortunately I did not learn my lesson, because when I went to Japan over the summer I ended up eating egg custard thinking it would be like Mexican flan.

I remember when I was in year 3 a boy brought a tube of wasabi to school on his birthday for the whole class to try. The teacher had a bunch of water and cut up some fruits so people could have it after trying the wasabi. The teacher gave us an amount to just cover one section of our finger. Since we were little kids, are hands were small so it was not much. But I remember trying it and it was so spicy and I immediately went and ate a bunch of pineapple. Some of the boys were overconfident and made the teacher do a whole finger’s worth of wasabi and that did not end well for them. And that’s why I have not eaten wasabi again since I was 7 years old.

It's always funny to see people eat too much wasabi =D Once our school crew decided to go to local mall. After like hour of shopping we all got hungry, so we decided to go to food section. They ordered some KFC. I really don't eat meat so I was the only one who decided to get avocado maki instead. When we sat down, guy asked me if he can try my wasabi. I allowed him but told him not to eat too much, because it's really spicy. Unfortunately, his "not too much" was like a teaspoon of it. As he ate it, his face turned absolutely red. I was just like "I told you", but other dudes around were laughing out really loud.
