As a Cross Riverian, I see Port Harcourt as another sweet place. First went there to shoot a movie. Totally like it.

Theres no crude oil inside Port Harcourt.....the oil fields are in the bush and other places. PH just happens to be the hub of the oil and gas industry in Nigeria as most of the oil companies have their offices here

Unless you consider Rumuomasi, and Rumuola to be bush, which they are not. There are literally oil wells in those places.

We need more infrastructure from the govt
@ck-sl3kt2 ай бұрын
@nedgrg6800 The only way to get more infrastructure is to advocate or protest for restructuring. Otherwise it is only Abuja and Lagos that can be developed in naija. That is because we currently practice unitary democracy that concentrate power in Abuja. Lagos is only benefitting because Abuja has no seaport. But in future it is only Abuja that will get everything and everyone will crowd the town and it becomes another slum like Lagos.

@@ck-sl3ktSo what were they doing with the allocation given to them from the federal? Wike built an estate for himself and family with which money? Let's stop deceiving ourselves that a governor salary could build such an edifice within shortest time in power. Corruption is the reason why development is slow, not restructuring.

@@nmg1909 Your father is the one paying salary and pension in the state? You even get sense at all? Some of you too daft so you can't even do simple maths of dividing the monthly allocation by number of citizens in the state so you can have idea what the allocation is worth. You remind me of Igbo man with individualistic mindset and so think very myopic. If you are not mypic, you will understand there is no money in any naija state except Lagos for now.
