Space has to be one of the most expensive costs of any restoration. Bernard has done a lovely job, and has had the support of his wife, which is another valuable asset. It will be nice to see Yo Ho sailing, looking forward to it.

Thank goodness for guys like Bernard! There’s a Friendship Sloop for sale hare in Ventura, CA. Sitting in the water, no one seems interested. I just purchased a Pacific Seacraft, Flicka-20 (another classic glass ship), so not able to buy another ship. And I’m not that skilled in wood repairs. Perhaps if I start a “Save a Friendship Sloop” fund /foundation it could be saved! It’s a classic 1948, 42 footer. Like Bernard, I can’t bare to see her sink into to ocean.

Well done, it the little gems that sadly fall on hard times because of the cost of restoration compared to the end value. Lovely job, well done!

It's a shame she has to be sold...for a moment there I thought ha was talking about Mrs Bull. LOL I can't wait to see her (The Boat) in the water where she belongs.

Is this the very same (I’m assuming it is) Yo Ho that M.C.B. did a video on? A lovely lady did the interview. Cheers from Chicago.

It most certainly is - you'll see her in part 2 when Yo Ho is launched

It's a little bit snobbish to say that solely based upon the material and construction of a boat it doesn't have a soul? I would think that would rely more upon the character of the boat and it's idiosyncrasies than what it was made of.
@MikeAG3333 жыл бұрын
Boats have soles, but not souls.......because souls don't exist. They're a figment of the human imagination.
