My second graders got their Alexa privileges taken away because they were using it to ask ridiculous questions when teachers weren't in the classroom. They were pretty sad... and honestly me too, because it is so useful.

It's not funny, but is also a little funny! I had two students that lost privileges for a while after using it inappropriately when there was a sub, but otherwise, they were all great about it. They would ask her for the spellings of hard words pretty often, which was nice. I had some students that still preferred a dictionary, so it was a nice balance of using technology and paper resources.

@@itskristinamoro Yes. You're welcome. If you use heavy cardstock with them, your laminated product will be very thick, so keep in mind if your laminator can't handle thick materials going through. I find a medium cardstock with the 5mil gives a very sturdy card. I use it mostly for things like hallpasses, signs, and re-usable things in the class.

Home Depot has what they call a tool belt apron for something like $1.50. It’s a waist apron with 3 pockets made of canvas. It does have their logo on it though.

What a great deal for an apron! I worked at Home Depot once upon a time- it'd be bittersweet to put one of their aprons back on! Lol
