Im the same in I cant have different size games together or bigger dvd boxes next to a normal dvd. I have to put the bigger box on the end of a shelf or it annoys tf outta me. I would love some series sets and I have had some in the past... maybe ill get some I want. GOT is great all the way through... till S8 imo but I wont say more, my fave char/arch was The Hound, loved that char and became a fan of the actor since! I've been with you before when your getting rid of a box set and rebuying the new one back in the day haha Scott buys all the big game collectors boxes with figures and its mental in his room, he recently stopped but its crazy in his room haha - I would love them but with 4 kids I cant afford the big boxes... the kids drain my wallet!!! I like that Stray box, great little game! I played straight through it in a single stream I think! I have a newer PS4 pickup shelf and have Rage 2 Collectors box with the wingblade... it annoyes me everyday next to all other ps4 boxes hahaha

I just couldn’t have the big boxes everywhere I’d have like 5 and have to stop! All the shows I watch and buy for are all pretty much coming to an end in a year or so time so it’ll give me the opportunity to go back and watch favourites and even some that I’ve not got round to yet!

The infamous 6th season of the Simpsons is the one that grinds my gears. Completely get where you are coming from, my o.c.d is pretty selective but when it is there, it is there lmao

You’re doing great 😃 👍 My struggle is mostly with organization. So if I have one ps4 game that won’t fit on the shelf with the rest of the ps4 games, I’ll rearrange my entire room just to make more space all because of one game😂 I refuse to use off brand controllers for systems, and will try my hardest to have name brand chargers for my handhelds. My complaint I have with Xbox one cases is it bugs me that the discs are stored on the left side of the case, while everything from dvds, CDs, and other consoles the disc is always on the right side. So when I go and open one of them especially after I haven’t in a while I have a mini heart attack thinking I lost the disc somewhere. On a good note, I do like the smaller cases as you can fit more on the shelf and they don’t look bad at all. That’s a couple I can think of. And btw, we are all a little weird in our own way. It’s what makes us unique 😉

I see you on a lot of that, I’m hoping to turn my spare room into my hobbie room this year so will tackle exactly where and how I wish to store and display everything. I agree it is odd the placing of the discs with the XBO games.

I’m not sure if this is the reasoning to why the Xbox one cases were designed this way, but from my understanding disc rot comes from a number of things, one being when discs are stored label side up on any surface, including in the cases. I’ve seen you should never store discs flat for that reason. And I do my best not to. But anyways, with the placement of where the disc is in the Xbox one case, if people did choose to store them horizontal with the front cover up, the disc will technically not fully touch the case. If that’s why they did that I suppose it’s pretty clever. But it’s still annoying reaching for it and it’s not on the right side when I open it 😅

When 24 went over to Blu-Ray have you changed your dvd seasons to Blu+Ray? Or do you have both. I seasons 1-6 on dvd and everything else on Blu-Ray. I didn't change the first 6 seasons to Blu-Ray because I'd have to sit and watch them all again. And while I love the show that's a big time commitment lol. I do however get annoyed that a lot of shows never got released on blu ray. For instance 2 of my favourite shows are Alias and Castle. If they got a Blu-Ray release I'd splash the cash.

I haven’t bought any show on blu ray, it’s annoying enough that they change the design of the boxes on dvd let alone blu ray too, plus with the boxes being smaller it would trigger my ocd aswell as knowing some come in diff sizes too. So I only get movies on blu ray I’ve bought a few 4K but my whole tv show collection is dvd.

I'm the complete opposite. I collect retro games NES, SNES, Megadrive etc. while most people want the best looking game complete in box I go for the dirty, sticker scraped, games written on with ink etc as nobody else seems to buy them. I see it as the game still functions the same no matter how it looks and still gives pleasure when playing which it was designed for.

I agree they should all hopefully play and play with or without box and manual but I do love a shelf of nicely stacked boxes for some reason 🤷‍♂️ I seen a lot of collection videos over the years and box protectors seem to be a must. I have a few from buying the games online and they just happen to come with the protector luckily.

The age rating logos on the spine triggers me although they don't look that bad if they are all the same for example in the Friends sets behind you. I always try to buy a US import to avoid them.

If that annoys you, I was looking at the smallville boxsets the other day and the font of the title changes too and I was like why didn’t they jus do the same they re designed the boxsets and sleeves only to change the font while printing 🤷‍♂️🤣

@@An_idiot_onthe_net I have been buying the blu rays of the show Vikings recently and they had the first two seasons with white writing on the spine and in season 4 it is red. They also changed the colour of the MGM logo. The age logos are also not in line, it just feels like a wasted opportunity for a perfect looking set

In regards to the box sizes? It doesn’t really happen anymore last one that did it was GoT I jus see it as one of those things as a series goes on over years things change
