@finngamer - Amazing collection. I'm a collector from Australia and I can confirm that we received the smoke grey unit, as well as the jungle green, ice blue, fire orange and grape consoles. I have a friend who bought a smoke grey machine back in 2000 and could get a picture of the box if necessary. Jungle green was given away as a prize with DK64 in a wooden box too! Haven't seen the watermelon console though. I also don't know if the last two controllers were sold individually.

@Wootsickles For playing I use four basic colours, black, blue, yeallow and red. For consoles, I use an european half blue/ half clear and a basic black japanese that has been modded to play USA games as well.

My Extreme Green controller is one of my most prized video game possessions. More for personal reasons than its rarity or value though. I absolutely love the Ice color as well. I've had the controller for years, but I only just purchased the matching console last week. It's basically teal, so I had to have it! :) Fantastic stuff, Janne. This video was a real treat.

Really love seeing your collection of N64 controllers, I love the N64, but it is frustrating how many controllers over the years I have gone through due to the analog stick wearing away, I now lube up the analog on any controller I get, it slows it down, but it still wears away. I really need to get hold of a Hori pad! I live in Australia and will keep an eye out for the missing controller. Really enjoy looking at your awesome N64 collection. Keep up the videos.

@zakk482 Because many of them are very rare. And it's not just about the color, it's about having the controller boxed or even sealed, that makes even the more common colours rarer. But if you watch the video, you'll notice I never say the Pokemon controllers are rare.

Cool, i remember when they came out with the different colors for the systems and its only now that i appreciate the variety that companies don't make available now. i mean these days for system colors you only have about one color choice with the PlayStation, two with Xbox, and two with Nintendo systems. Even with controllers nowadays we don't get even close to the n64 variety.

There are rumored to be around 20 to 30 Gold/Black E3 Star Fox 64 controllers. Many people think less, and I'd say its about 25, at the most. I've seen a few on KZbin, never on eBay. Pretty cool set, man.

They are custome made. I just bought one of the 2 available Mario N64 controlers (the one using more white). On a side note, there are currently 3 available N64 hotel controlers (made for the hotel console) on ebay.

Dark Souls! There are no words to describe how much I love this game. A true challenge if ever there was one. Rarely is a game so difficult yet fair and insanely fun. Love the videos! Your N64 hardware is epic. Your first video inspired me to upgrade my N64 to one of the Funtastic systems I have wanted for a long time. I heard that Nintendo modelled the original colours of the controllers after the colours in the olympic rings and the original grey do you know if this is true?

On Amazon, Vintage Games & Antiques is selling the Watermelon controller for 29.00 USD. The store doesn't say whether it's boxed or not, but it's supposedly in very good condition, which I'll assume to mean boxed. You can look at that if you'd like. I'm sure they can ship to you. Amazon has an airline delivery service doesn't it?

@RetroStationSutton Oh, I have seen many special controllers almost like that, but these are always some custom paint job. I'm guessing you don't have a matching box for it, it's just the loose controller? Of course I might be wrong, but I would guess it's just some fan's own customization of the official controller.

@brickman409 Do you have a box for it? That would prove authenticity, of course. What do you mean by "standard indigo" color? So it's not like the light blue controllers at 4:12? Those have a clear bottom.

You have a great collection for the N64. As a fellow collector (although my personal preference is the SNES) I always wonder as time goes on, the longer it takes to find things, the more difficult it will become in all aspects, especially CIB. Do you ever start to think as more time passes, the chances of finding all the systems complete and boxed will be reasonable financially, or even possible? I assume you would want all NTSC, PAL, and JAP systems complete? Thanks for sharing..

Joysticks on these things run out so quickly! I got my N64 two days ago, so It's still got a long life on my joystick, but need to be wary of this thing, I thought about getting Mario kart but then noticed the outcome of that, so just got Super Mario 64. Hi finngamer, been a fan of your collections and videos for a long, long time. This is the first time I'm making contact with you as a fellow N64 collector, although I'm only focused strictly on controllers. I noticed that you didn't include a Jusco 30th controller... do you not have one?
