frkle okay I wasn’t going to say anything because I only read your first comment then I read it all, but a majority in fact MOST of my subscriptions are not Asian. Second of all I have bts as my icon to show my support to them and I found yoora from a recommendation from a white study with me video. Honestly if she was white or whatever I would still find her entertaining and fun to watch. frkle so let me get this straight I’m Asian fetishizing because I like BTS and happened to be watching a KZbin video with an Asian girl in it? I like Selena (not Gomez) and I watch a lot of Mexican KZbinrs. I also listen to texican musicians and like Mexican food. Is it fetishizing? I also like learning about Britain in history. I like Adele and Sam smith. I think the whole tea time they did in the past was so fascinating. I think British accents are super cool. I enjoy watching/ reading Harry Potter a lot. Is it fetishizing British people? I think the whole thing with Canadians being nice is funny and I constantly laugh at Canada memes. I think Tim Horton’s would be the first place I’d visit if I went to Canada. Canadian people seem to be like cool people. I used to love bajancandian or whatever this youtubers name is. Is it Canadian fetishizing? I think Italy is super cool and the language would be nice to learn. I want to go to Italy and try their pizza. I think Italian people are pretty. If I watched a video of an Italian person with an Italian singer as my pfp would I be an italianboo? You see i really don’t care what the race of someone is and it really shouldn’t matter. I think korea might be cool and I’ve tried maybe 2 dishes which were good. However, I found bts through a friend and I don’t really keep up with their every move. I think they are talented people who happen to be Asian. If they were Indian, Mexican, Chinese, British or any race/ ethnicity from whatever country then I would listen to them if I liked their music. Obviously I like bts is attractive but they are genuinely handsome. I think African Americans can be handsome and white people can be deemed attractive. So you bringing in race into this is really just childish. Not every person with a kpop pfp is fetishizing every single Asian out there. I put kpop as my pfp because I don’t feel like finding a picture of myself that doesn’t crop weird. I am saying my side of this. Yes yoora happens to be korean. Yeah I have about 5 percent of my subscriptions as Asian youtubers, which no I did not subscribe to because they are Asian. Yes I like yooras context and aesthetic edition. No I dont fetishize Asian.
