I enjoyed hearing your coming out story. One of the wonderful parts of being gay is that even though we grew up on different continents, thousands of miles away, there are common threads that we share and can identify with. I grew up in a small working class town in a western state (USA), but being different or standing out from the crowd didn't feel very safe. I too knew that I looked forward to the day that I could move away from this small town and go to a university and meet other people that were more like me. Thanks for sharing your story. Next I will watch Peter's coming out experience. Hugs from California.

Thanks for sharing your story Tommy. I am so happy you had basically a drama free coming out. I love that your brother is so loving and sweet to you. It is so apparent how much he loves you when he is speaking. One thing you said jogged my memory and that was you speaking about how it was at work. Interestingly, despite that I came out at around 15 or 16 years old, I didn't come out in a work setting till after 2009. Prior to 2009 I was living in The Woodlands, Texas and going to college. I met my husband Scott around 2008. He convinced me to move to his state of Louisiana which is next door to Texas. I remember that in Texas I was out to family and friends but not in the work or college world. So after I moved and we had been together for two years I decided one day to try. So when people would ask about my life instead of side stepping the conversation I would just tell them about Scott and my life but I would never actually say I am Gay. It felt so awkward and strange. People were nice to my face at least and I didn't have any problems. But it took me years from 2009 onward to become really comfortable. Today it doesn't bother me anymore to talk about my life and weirdly people seem to appreciate the frank way in which I speak about my life. So glad time has changed that people are this way and not like they were when I was born. It was a different world in 1979 lol! Lots of love from Louisiana! Thanks again for your story.

Thanks for sharing. I love that you brought your brother into the story as well. In your part of Europe, was being Gay something that got you killed? I grew up in Texas in the 80's where we were Gay bashed and many died. Was that a fear when you grew up or came out? On a lighter note, it is reassuring to realize, given time, family do come around and accept us all. My Mom used to go down to a pay phone to call me and discuss my coming out so my Grandma would not hear her. Only she did not realize my Grandma told me I was Gay when I was 18 and my Mom was calling me when I was 29...Oops! Oh, well!
@tommyandpeter

I love the story with your mom and grandma! Fortunately most family members come around after they have some time to think about it and realize that we're still the same. When I was a teenager, I wasn't really afraid of physical violence - something like that might have happened but very rarely. I was just afraid that my family and friends would hate me and I wanted to avoid possible conflicts and the drama.

Tommy, your brother Roman is a real charmer, and very handsome. I love the way the three of you are so comfortable with each other, almost like brothers by birth. Tommy you had my sides splitting when you rendered yourself “fresh meat” in the melee of that 1990s gay club. You’ve a way with words. Can’t think why you don’t like attracting attention, because we’ve all seen what Peter also sees: that you’re incredibly handsome. That said, Roman ain’t bad either. 😉 Really enjoyed your coming out story. Despite the lack of drama, there was still plenty of meat in it! Can also highly recommend being gay together with a gay partner. It’s life affirming. It’s truly wonderful. I sometimes find it difficult to find the words to describe the depth of my love for my husband. 😀 Keep those videos coming guys, your fans need entertaining in 2021. Cheers, from Stefan in Ireland. 😀

I miss being fresh meat! Can't really call myself fresh at 36 anymore. When I was growing up, I considered myself ugly so that probably contributed to me trying to avoid attention. I'm glad you liked my meat! Thank you for helping us spread gay agenda 😃

Great story. I grew up in a small town too. I confided in a “good” friend who proceeded to tell all of my other friends. Thanks for sharing your story. I am older than you two so in my day I played the straight good boy with a girl friend up through high school. Mothers loved me because I was such a perfect gentleman with their daughter. Their daughters were pissed because I never made a move. LOL. I knew I was different from early on but didn't know it was "gay". I just liked being with boys. At some point I realized I didn't just want to be like them but that I wanted to be with them. I never "came out" to anyone till college to someone who had first come out to me. Never came out to my judgmental family. I think when I came out to close friends and their reaction was "Yeah, duh." It was disappointing I didn't get a bigger reaction. So I stopped "coming out." LOL.

Haha, I wish everyone's reaction would be "Yeah, duh" 😃 That would make it way easier and less stressful for everyone. I always got along with older women as well, even though I didn't date their daughters 😁 I'm glad I knew I was gay since I was 15 and didn't have to go through the girl dating phase, that must have been rather unpleasant at times!

Hallo Tommy and Peter.. I really enjoyed watching videoboth of you coming out. It turns out that even in European countries there are any people who are still not open minded. I live in Bali, Indonesia. Most people on here don't accept that their children are gay. I'm 46 years old, and until now I haven't come out yet.. I don't know how to tell my family about my sexual orientation. anyway I'm also an introvert, it seems that having a partner with fellow introverts must be very happy like both of you.. maybe you have friends who are single and look for an introverted partner, there is one person in Bali waiting for him... 🙂🙂🙂. sorry my english is not good.. have a nice day..

Hello, thank you 😊 We got lucky we found each other, it really is the best when we are two introverts. Sadly it can be tough anywhere in the world, even though in Europe it might seem better, it's not always. Sorry to hear about Bali, that it is not very accepted, it's a shame that people are close minded 🙁 Love is love! Hopefully it will get better for you one day ❤️

HA HA HA "Secondary Character" Gentlemen........still LOVING both of your senses of humor. Was your country the former Czechoslovakia? If so, what year did that country break up? Sorry......horrible with history and geography. lol Tommy's brother seems like a good sport and of course very handsome. I would have been pissed if he told my mom about me being gay. UGH Too funny......the bother says he found Tommy's "Romantic" stash on the computer and Peter directly blurts out GAY PORN. OMG.......Peter you kill me. HA HA HA HA Why are you both wearing T Shirts in the dead of the winter? It's 25 degrees Fahrenheit in the Northeast US. Sorry, I don't know what that is in Celsius. May I ask why your brother moved to Canada? Girlfriend? Job? I hope you know how much I and all your loyal fans enjoy you both putting out your Vidoes every Thursday without fail. We know it's a lot of work but I hope it's keeping Peter busy. HA HA HA :)

Glad you found my coming out story funny 😃 We were both born in Czechoslovakia which split up in 1993. That's when we became foreigners to each other. I probably would have been pissed at Roman too back then. Good thing I had no idea what was happening behind my back! It's cold here as well but we do have radiators at home 😉 I wear t-shirts most of the year in our condo as its' really easy and quick to heat up the place. Roman moved to Canada for adventure and to find a job. It seems he succeeded as that was over 6 years ago. Peter hasn't been bored for a long time so mission accomplished!

Hmm.... you may want to replace traditional dolls (Chucky) with G.I Joe ones. You can take his clothes off, I mean, change his clothes and lots of other stuff. ;-)

I just love you Two you make me laugh especially recommending being gay together bit. Your both beautiful great people. I love your attitude it doesn't matter . Good on you . It's must have been very difficult especially living in a country with such strict rules. Even in today's society it can be very difficult to be yourself. You still have to be careful of certain people and places. I hope I find a love like you both have. Maybe one day if I'm meant too. Been on my own (ie no partner all my life and in 63) my life has been taking care or my parents especially since mum dies 35 years ago and dad has been with me ever since and is nearly 93. A choice I made to care for him but I hope to possibly have some special some day. Love watching you both. ❤️🇦🇺🙏🏻

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. You're right, even nowadays we're still rather careful, you never know what might happen. Taking care of your dad for so long is very admirable. Not many people could do that. We do hope you meet someone special soon, you deserve it ❤️
