I lost my 2 closes friends when I came out they just got really distance etc I knew both of them since 5 and we 20 now.

Well it really shouldn't have left a bad taste in your mouth and it shouldn't have left for bad taste in their mouth. Both your straight friend and your straight cousin would never feel that they have an obligation to come out and tell you that they are straight therefore you really don't have an obligation to come out and tell them that your gay. There's no burden upon their shoulders to tell you that they're straight so why should that be a burden upon your shoulder to tell them or anybody else that you're gay. I've always felt that every person's sexual preference is their business my sexual preference is my business.
