We will be getting together with our family on Christmas Eve and we will be having heavy hor d’oeuvres to graze on throughout the evening. We all bring our favorites and eat way too much. Getting up at 3:30am here to put the turkey on the smoker and ham in the crockpot. Getting ready for our Thanksgiving meal today. Love seeing the different foods that you have in Scotland for holidays. Great vlog!!!

Great to see all the party food, desserts are my favourite too! 😋 Such a help to know whats available when planning my shopping trip. Thank you for the “offer” tips this week. I look out for them when I do my weekly shop. Who am I kidding it lasts 2/3 days, I’m back again! My husband always says “food is glue” it brings the family all round to eat. We luv it! The buffet food aisle in Aldi hasn't got so much there than Asda and Tesco. My local Morrison's hasn't got much choice in buffet food. Good shopping haul as alway's Zoe. Take care from Norfolk

We have our Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve evening and then buffet food on most days so we buy a lot of stuff, thank you for checking out the buffet food I have written down a lot of the items to make sure my hubby gets the best food and especially the important food items ( desserts ). We sometimes buy a turkey crown for New Year’s Day and my hubby’s mum comes for lunch but pork and beef have been discussed for our evening meal. My two sons have hollow legs I will spend days trying to find out where I have hidden my chocolate bar i eventually find it and they have eaten my chocolate, ooh it drives me crazy but they are 6’4” so I suppose they need a lot of food to sustain them, we are only a family of four with two adult sons I put the shopping away happy that my fridge and cupboards are full again, two days later it is like an apocalypse and all the food is gone! ❤❤❤

Oh we do the same as the is only me and my grown up son to me is easier and a lazy christmas day and boxing day the grand children well they are all grown up they come down christmas day so if they want anything they can help their selves they hsed to come for christmas dinner but 4 Christmas's ago they said they would be down for 5 which they were so I went to dish dinner out and they all said the said only a small dinner as they had all eaten at home so I decided to no do dinner for them again as they had the mums christmas dinner and I had to throw food away

Fruit is not really all that great and it is normally warm here year round. Thankfully they has items for Agnes. I'm like you Zoe, if it's there and I like it I eat it, lol. I'm making a turkey and ham with all the sides for Thanksgiving tomorrow. I hope I remembered everything.

Great shopping trip...The food selection was amazing...I make all my own but still love to see so I can copy...I start early doing the baking and freezing it all...I love doing a good buffet as well and my guests and family enjoy it...I love you and your girl shopping together...making memories she will never forget...

Old school buffet is simply the best! Everything looked so delicious. It is an effort to get nice options for family with allergies. One daughter-in-law is diabetic, the other vegetarian, grandson eats gluten free and granddaughter lactose intolerant. We always want them to enjoy the holiday foods. ❤😊
