Hey Paul, it's been a while! I hope yourself, Lulu, and everyone are well. Notably, the trend in providing a frame for steelbooks provides a pragmatic function: it allows font and character art to be embossed, while still keeping the overall book more/less flush for your shelf in finality, with an overall 15mm depth. I prefer the overall footprint of my collection to be kept down, so I like the framing/deboss + emboss option - to which I can then affix a magnet flip-effect. There is a special term (besides embossing) which refers to cases where the embossing extends beyond the 15mm standardized width, but I forget the term at this time. It's cool, but totally impractical.

Nice collection Pauly, if you still want to pick-up the ant-man and doctor strange big sleeves zoom are selling them for about £20 each. I need to find Guardians 1 to finish my collection. It's a real shame there was no infinity war big sleeve.

Great collection, Paul - I would like to get the early steelbooks - I didn't collect steels back then ) but they go for silly money now so I'm hoping I can combine getting steelbooks of all of them with upgrades to 4K since I will probably upgrade to 4K anyway so I will be able to justify paying out a bit more for the steel if I'm paying out for the 4K anyway! Trying to keep up with the Marvel TV steelbooks as they are a LOT less likely to ever get 4K re-releases... stuck getting a couple of ones from before I got into steelbooks but I'll get there one day! Ant-Man steelbook was a Hard Disk Drive with a 'dent' where he hit it when small and dense (the density bit they seem to forget or remember when it's convenient for the movie!) FWIW I had trouble liking Thor: Ragnarok too as I agreed with Lula and Clare and preferred the more serious tone of the first 2 (which others didn't) BUT when I saw Infinity War I understood why they 'lightened up' Thor in Ragnarok as he spent a lot of the time with Guardians so his humour tone had to match theirs (or make Guardians serious which just wouldn't work!) and re-watching Ragnarok with that knowledge I liked it much more. BTW, I dare say you know, but I believe steelbookcentral have protective slips sized for Blu-fans (I can't test this as I don't have any Blu-fans but I have got some for my KimchiDVD and Novamedias... of which I have all of a total of 3... better get some more as I have enough protectors!). Was wearing my Red Skull the other day; great shame they had to call it a day - nicely designed shirts, good quality and very well priced.

hay great collection, is the new avengers movie on big sleave im sure i have seen art work for it. my tesco has removed half the shelf space of disc media for doreto's chrisps grrrr .. i got most big sleaves apart from the early ones galaxey 1 ..and tesco has closed down the website where you could get them online..
