Wow! This is amazing. I’ve been collecting all the main series games for a few years now, and as of right now I’m only missing white 2! Next year starts my mission to collect all the rest of the games! But I love all the extra accessories you have in your collection!

Dallas Halvorson thank you so much! White 2 was a great game. It really fixed the issues I had with the first game in the 5th generation. Good luck on the hunt for the remaining games! When I started displaying everything I wanted there to be more to look at than just the games. I thought adding some toys and artsy things would make it more fun of a backdrop. 😊

I had all of the American releases as a kid except the GameCube. I missed out on that console but went right back to buying Pokémon games for the Wii. For the ones I had to search for I went to local retro game shops and checked eBay for deals.

Candi's Classic Game Shrine Thats’s awesome. I got 1 game from every gen for a long time, and I’ve wanted to finish this main series games project for years now. I never had the time or money to go searching for the games or look online. The only retro game stores near me pretty much have GameBoy Advanced and older, so I’ve had no luck finding the White 2 I need. Plus I don’t want to dish out $100+ for a copy of the game so it looks like I won’t be done for a while

Nintenjam I remember as a kid I would take the Pokédex with me to pick up my cousin from his school 20 min away and we would play Pokémon trivia using it lol I’ve been alright. Life has been hectic for me health-wise but now it’s finally over for the most part. Now that I’ve been diagnosed with MS, I just need to start treatment. I hope all has been well with you 💕

I glad I found someone who didn't forget the pokemon mini 😄. I love my little pokemon mini collection and you should definitely get the flash card (when they are in stock😅). You can play alle the games and even the japanese exclusives in English.

The Pokémon mini is such an awesome little system! I grabbed the flash cart for it a couple years ago and have been able to enjoy all the titles without breaking the bank for them. 😊

yeah B2/W2 were amazing as well. I'm starting my own collection and I'm about half way there. Those gamecube pokemon games are impossible to find :( as well as those GB games. But i'm not giving up lol

Best of luck to you! My only advice to give is to learn how to tell the fakes from the real carts. They are getting really difficult to tell nowadays. I was lucky and found most of the GameCube games locally at a retro games store. Pokemon Box is going to be the most expensive one or one of the most expensive ones you're gonna wind up buying.

KawaiiEevee UwU you can get there! I was lucky and always bought the games new as a kid so it helped. My best advice is to be very cautious of fakes and bootlegs. Even the DS games are getting faked now.

Is there a cheaper way of completing my Pokémon video game collection?

If you don’t mind putting in a lot of extra work you may be able to get lucky with certain titles at garage sales/yard sales. Unfortunately most people know what Pokémon is and the value of anything that’s branded to them. The one thing you may want to try is to set up saved searches on eBay and other websites that alert you to new listings for Pokémon games or whatever else it is that you were looking for. Sometimes if you watch auctions and miss out on sleep you might get good deals from auctions ending when everyone else is typically sleeping. Fortunately for me 99.9% of my Pokémon games with the exception of the game cube ones and the Japanese titles I bought brand new from the store. Collecting Pokémon games now is super expensive and I don’t see prices going down anytime soon. I really kick myself in the ass for throwing out my boxes and manuals when I was a child. I would love to go back and get boxes for all of my older Pokémon games but there’s no way that’s happening unless I hit the lottery or come into a small fortune.

Nice collection. I'm finally trying to complete mine and it's coming along nicely. However Pokémon Box may forever elude me : ( Still not sure how I'll display them but I do want custom cases for the Gameboy/Color/Advance games (even if Pinball might not fit. That handbook brings back memories since I didn't have access to the games at the time but loved the Anime and it was the first time I saw Eevee and it's been my favorite ever since.

Griffnix you will get there! Pokémon Box was one I thought I’d never have but I was lucky and saw it for a steal at one of my old local retro shops. I wanna eventually get boxes for the GB-N64 games whether custom ones or original. I have really fond memories of the handbook too. I used it to draw all 151 Pokémon and then added Togepi, Subbull, and Marill. Do you have a favorite Eeveeloution?

@@CandisClassicGameShrine Yeah, I'm halfway there already. I have notifications on in certain sites for when I see a good deal. There are places that sell custom cases and that may be a better way to go although there are some I want boxed like the Japanese exclusives and the ones that come with extras like Stadium and Hey You Pikachu. My favorite Eeveelution was Espeon until Sylveon came out. I joke and say if I had an Eevee in real life, I'd try for an Espeon but end up with a Sylveon.
