wasnt born early enough to play this golden generation of games. Thankfully we had emulators on our phones and tablets growing up so my cousins and I played these pokemon games back in 2016-2017 when I was stoll 8 years old. Now I'm turning 16 this year and I have finally decided to come back and replay pokemon Emerald and I have just reached the Elite 4 today. The feeling of nostalgia these games bring is unreal even though I wasn't alive when they came out.

Pokémon Sapphire was the first game I played. Built up and satisfied my expectations completely. Later on, I played the old games and remembered the impact of the franchise here in Latin America. Pokémon was a culture, they were just mascots and a TV series... But from R/S/E it was THE game. That's where the origin of Pokémon showed up and became accessible to people. Damn.

Man crystal was such an awesome game. The color and animations improvements were so cool, but I remember playing Sapphire and the detail and color for an affordable handheld was just mind-blowing for the time. There really wasn't much of an improvement in Pokemon games until X and Y. Those screens were so tiny but I didn't mind one bit

When I saw X, and Sun on the 3ds I remember when I used to play sun so much! I used to be better at X because I had no idea what to do in Sun, but when I managed to find out I played it a home, In the car! Almost everywhere but school. I remember the time My dad forgot to lock the car door and someone broke in his car and my 3ds was in there, just in the middle seat of the car, the thief only took about $2, when my dad told me that while playing on my 3ds after that break in I was like “IM LUCKY!”. I had a nightmare about my 3ds once and I had never played on it again, I’m not anymore but say if I opened my “Dead” *It has to be charged* 3ds my hands would shake so much but now I’m like, “I was afraid of this thing?”. I don’t play on it anymore because I can play other games I have like Arceus, Violet, Sword, Let’s go Pikachu & Eevee. (Sorry that it is so long lol!)
