awesome stuff man. I'm in the middle of attempting this collection right now, I only wish that I started five years ago when the games were a fraction of what they are starting to sell for these days.

thanks man i appreciate it. you wont believe this but more than half the rare titles i got for free or under retail price because i bought most of them when the dreamcast was still alive back in the late 90's and early 2000's. i actually bought Project justice for $29.99 at gamestop back in 2001. It was the first and only time i ever saw that game in stores. Youre prob gonna hate me for this but i got both Power stones for free from a friend back in high school LOL

Yeah, you are serious about your Dreamcast! Sadly, I had to sell almost all my Dreamcast collection (had over 100 games, but I kept 2 systems and a few select games), my entire SNES collection (had all the major RPGs, boxed--yes, that hurt) and PS1 collections to fund university education and a move to Hawaii in the 90s. But, might start collecting for SNES & Dreamcast again. Too expensive to start re-collecting for the PS1 b/c all I'd want for it are the rare and costly RPGS I had to sell, lol.

yeah my next consoles would be Licensed NES games boxed, TG-16, and most of the saturn games. Just the ones i like. The NES is going to take me years and im fine with that. it would be a console i search for the games every now and then. The TG-16 on the other i would really like to start up but i honestly dont think i would finish it just cause magical chase is super rare. i havent seen that game pop up on ebay in years. if anthing i would try and get the most TG-16 games that i could.
@SystemSyko12 жыл бұрын
About a year ago i traded a double of MVC because i didnt have the back insert. But i did have a mint manual. As for power stone 2 i was lucky to get it for free from a friend years ago. But yeah man it sucks to hear about the water damage ones. you do gotta be careful about buying games and making sure its exactly the version you want.

Marvel vs. Capcom and Power Stone 2. I've been trying to get a good deal on Power Stone 2 but it's tough. MvC I have a loose disc, and a complete one I just ordered but it was water damaged in shipping. I'm looking for the white label too since I have the All Stars already, I had to send one back because I wasn't careful when I ordered.

Yeah, the All Stars make it tricky. I'm apt to forget which ones have All Stars versions. I'm collecting the All Stars versions too though. I need about 9 of those still. That's funny, that would be perfect for me since I have the back and disc but no good manual. Ah well. I'll pick those both up next paycheck. I'm savoring having just a couple left on the list. :)

I haven't checked emulators out yet. might have too because all the stores in my area where I used to get retro titles at awesome prices have gone out of business and the market for SNES games, especially the RPGs, is serious right now, lol.

nah man i dont have the different variations of covers. Just the normal regular ones. Waste of money and space if i were to get all those. Yeah people never seem to stay focused on one console. its hard. Even I wasnt that focused until the beginning of this year.
@SystemSyko12 жыл бұрын
wow that sucks man. hey theres always emulators nowadays if your just looking to play the games. not sure how you feel about emulators though
@SNKNostalgia12 жыл бұрын
Now, onto collecting Neo Geo home carts. I kid, I kid. Go with MVS. I pretty much stopped Neo Geo collecting now that I have the main fighters I want. All the SNK Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, Last Blade, King of Fighters and Samurai Shodown games. I don't have the SNK Playmore (Don't care for) releases from 2001 and up. Games like KOF 2001-03, Samurai Shodown 5 and Special, etc... I also have other titles like Metal Slug 3, Magician Lord, Baseball Stars and 15 other common cheaper carts.
