I’ve used every kind of safety belt (including none) over the last 40 years that there is. I bought the tacta-saddle a couple of years ago based on one your videos. Without a doubt the best system I’ve ever used and I highly recommend it. Thanks Jason

Just a note. Fusion rock climbing harnesses have very similar harness. They are made in USA and if you call them they will add rated loops for lineman’s belt placed to your exact waist measurements. Been using one for two years and love it.

Whatever safety harness you use, make sure its a good one and that you do use it. I fell about 15' in 2004. Harness I had on was robust, but had a snap that didn't have the safety catch. We found nothing broke when it was checked out after my fall. Pretty sure the snap got released somehow while I was climbing. Just make sure all carabiners have that second latch on them. The fall changed my life. Trust me.....its not worth a fall.

Nice setup, I use similar except my harness is the Killdeer harness very lightweight. Jason your videos & methods have helped me out tremendously! Thank you 🙏🏼

This is cool but just curious if theres a reason why you wouldnt just saddle hunt if youre going to wear a saddle? Curious if there is an advantage to this. I dont know i would feel safe with a loose rope on a saddle like that especially in the front. I dont think that fall would be as forgiving comparent to a traditional saddle configuration with a taught rope and facing the tree. Thanks for the video 👍

Appreciate the video! Could show us how you use your tether and lineman’s ropes while you climb from the bottom of the tree to the top?

That's Pretty Cool how you helped Robert Carter out With Gear. sticks/Saddle..👍🏻

Uneducated question with the harness attached in the front. If you are to fall are you worried about injuring your back? I know when you fall there is a significant amount of force generated. Thank you for any information.

The dynamic rope has some stretch and the slack is limited so it would not be that far of a fall so the energy to your back shouldn't be a big deal

I've never used a harness that ties on the front. Do you not get tangled up when you turn?

Nope, little learning curve but allows a large range of movement.

I hunt out of either wood built enclosed tree stands and ground blinds. I have a fear of heights that is just to bad to hunt out of harness or ladder stands, so I build my stands with steps. Easy in easy out. I'm a big sissy, I know. 😂😂😂
