Great collection man, I would would like to see Microsoft (or anyone else) development a more “viewing” friendly version of our collection of digital games. So as you scroll through the games on the menu, you see the art work and other minor details like achievements with an auto scroll feature ( sort of like digital photos). Your channel is awesome!!

I love digital man saves so much space I've had gaming Generations since intellivision and they always cause clutter. Now I can pick certain titles to go physical and the majority to go digital.

I have a big game room and a fairly large house , i love to have huge physical games collection , What happens if the services are down for a week digital ?? Look, I want to be dependent only not so dependent on them . Plus i have the space my wife games to my kids to so we have the room . They must give you the option always , I find disturbed to be 100% dependent on Microsoft , Sony or Others . What happens if they just remove a game from you from the services you put more than 100 euros into , DLC's enc .. they can do that . What happends when you favorite games will disappear from the services . That is why i think options are good i love to own games own a huge physical games collection so i can show my friends my games in my gamer room .

@@haloindecloudsergens7912 Life is full of possibilities but what's likely to happen is the severs won't crash for 7 days straight being that in 15 yrs on Xbox Live it never crashed for 7 days straight before but lets stay in conjecture with everything you're right options are great and having an option where I can save space keep my games and not worry about them getting old wearing out someone stepping on them and then losing condition due to wear and tear or sunspots that's what I like about digital a long-time member of Xbox Live and I've never worried about digital copies and I still don't and I don't think I ever will any copy that I play that I take digitally I've got more out of it and I don't think I want to put it in the suitcase but just in case I do all I have to do is digitally downloaded all over again which is a lot cooler than packing extra baggage filled with discs but could be lost in an airport could be crushed in baggage that can be put on the bottom of the wrong bus anything can happen but what we're dealing with is what's most likely to happen and what's most likely to happen is the servers are not going to crash for seven days and I think that it safe to say that in today's trying times there are no real guarantees with anything but with my digital choices I am comfortable.

Relic I don’t mind buying my favorites twice. I get the best of both worlds. Plus, it’s beautiful to me that unlike PC games (except GOG), console discs include a game license, so your console doesn’t rely on an external server being present 20 years from now. Say, I have Forza Horizon 4 via game pass on my Xbox One S. Then, I unplug the xb1, cancel game pass. 50 years from now, I take out my dusty Xbox. Xbox live doesn’t exist. I launch FH4. Xbox can’t find game pass subscription. It can’t even connect to XBL. FH4 will ask for the disc. If I insert the disc, XB1 will read the license of a game pass game and the game will boot. You see something beautiful here? You are actually given a physical copy of a license for a digital product. You don’t get that with Digital.

I have been gaming since before the Atari 2600. I have a massive collection of games across many platforms. Most of the games I own are my favourites throughout the years. And the same can be said about my most current library. The digital games I own are mostly games I have purchased on sale that were afterthoughts. Back when it was only physical, games released at a slower pace and fewer of them. In this day and age, there is so many games, that it’s literally impossible to purchase and play everything. Having digital game sales have opened the door to play many games I might not have purchased. And the same can be said for Gamepass. There are so many and better ways to play old games today that I don’t have to connect my old consoles. The last time I kept old consoles connected was probably 10 years ago. I’ve since gotten older, life has become more busy, leaving a lot less time than I would like for gaming. That said, I can only play one game at a time, and with so much to choose from, that I have no interest in plugging in the old consoles and truly have no need to. 50 years from now, if my health and vision allow me to keep gaming, I will consider myself a very lucky man. But like today, I will probably not be reaching for the old consoles to play and the ability to enjoy old favourites in a current way, will still be a thing. In a nutshell, I am not worried about my Xbox X working 50 years from now. As much as I want life to last forever and take my games into the afterlife, the truth is, we can’t take it with us lol. And this makes my “collection “ a pretty worthless thing when you think about it. I once thought as you but as I have gotten older, my views have changed. Thank you for your opinion my friend.

75 hours into Shadow of War, 100% completion which is crazy rare for me. Really enjoyed it. I played Shadow of Mordor and it was meh. I just bought the season pass for $10, heard it's pretty short but I'm excited to tackle it at that price. May take Rand's advice and get Batman Arkham, haven't played any of that series.

It's about Exclusive games from this generation , there are people in the Netherlands that have a Playstation collection over 4000 games , i have a digital , physical over 4 generation consoles .. Sega megadrive , OG xbox .. Xbox360 .. Xbox one generation .. Ps3 . like 900 games . My sega megadrive still play games :)

I am 100% digital and have 400+ games. I do miss displaying my collection though :( almost wish there was a cool way to display what games you own digital... I thought about buying 500 Xbox one cases and printing game art and displaying them on my shelf... but that would be pretty expensive overall.

I have 240 plus games and 40 of those are game pass, so I own about 200 between both my Xbox One S, 360 and One X. If only I had the money to buy these games, which I don't, so that's why I prefer game pass. Sometimes there are more important things to spend money on, like bills. I did just buy The Witcher 3 complete edition for $20, so i'm playing that lately. I still want Red Dead 2, AC Odyssey, Forza Horizon 3, and Shadow Warrior collection.

I have 2700 dvds, 1100 Blu-ray dvds, and 700 games from the previous generation in my house and it takes up SO much room that I could be using for something else. So at the start of this generation I started going digital and it's been freaking great not only do I not have to worry about not being able to play my digital versions across generations with Xbox but I also get to gameshare with a friend or family member so they have access to the 600 games I have in my digital library. Will definitely be staying digital with Xbox going forward, I don't know about ps4 though seeing as how they still have yet to confirm if they're done with generations like Xbox meaning if the ps5 comes out I have no idea if my ps4 games will be playable
