Looking good! Word of advice, take a grinder and clean up the cuts you made on the motor mount. Putting a radius on those cuts will strengthen it drastically, removes the stress risers. keep up the good work!

Shorten up that oil return line coming out of the turbo. It should be a straight line with no upward bend for the oil to go into the oil pan.

Good build man, but where does the compressed air from the turbo go. How does it get into the air intake if the supercharger is attached to the air intake? And is this the supercharger for the 2zzge 0r 1nzfe? thanks in advance

from turbo to SC intake then get compress again before interring combustion chambers

anan oscar oh ok i understand now. that's different though cause i think people usually blow the air from the SC to spool the turbo, especially big turbos which need alot to spool up. However I know that these superchargers are kind of intergrated into the intake manifold, so i guess that's why you did it that way. Anyhow all i'm saying is that's one hell of a build and i wish you all the best, can't wait to see the final product, already looks like a beast :)

Ronide1000 a supercharger doesnt restrict airflow so doing it this way insures fast spooling and since you get a compound effect that puts the final boost at somewhere near 1.5x the combined boost you can run lower boost on both the turbo. if you run it the other way around witch Ive seen it done almost exclusively done this way,

Cool build man, thats a sweet engine setup. can i ask, is this sequentially charged then, with the turbo taking over at some point? i plan to do a similar build, but i realised the turbo will spool much faster being fed the higher exhaust flow from the supercharger and have no idea how to find out where in the rev range the transition would be as a result. Its doing my head in lol.

I hook up the supercharger of vacuum once boost hit it wont compress turbo take over even though its whining making all that ruckus.... lol

anan oscar Nice! have you considered a clutch for the supercharger pully? then you can effectively turn the supercharger off when your on the turbo's boost and not have it still be sapping power. superchargers take a lot to spin at high rpm, id say the difference of fitting a clutch would be noticeable!

anan oscar im not sure, some older toyota superchargers such as sc12s and possibly sc14s have them, identical to the clutch on their a/c pumps. a bit of retrofitting may be needed

its basically for looks, even a turbo 1zz is more efficient than that set up and cheaper and will outrun it.

If done correctly, compound charging can be way more efficient than just a turbo. Tuning is a nightmare on these setups, you need to have the supercharger disengage once the turbo is spooled, via an electric clutch mechanism or something of the sort. Not only does a good compound charge eliminate all lag, but you can get crazy amounts of power out of a tiny engine. Just look at volvo's new polestar line
