I used to live in Koramangala 8th block near NGV signal during the transition from my collage days and stepping into my work career in 2012-2014. Used to walk on these streets admiring the villas and enjoying the well maintained parks. Unfortunately, I had to move out of Bangalore post 2014. Thanks for reviving those memories for me. ❤ Not to forget Mr. Balchandra I'm surprised that such people still exist in Bangalore.

Lived in Koramangala since 1979, I now live in Sydney. I am heading back to Sydney tonite after a short 2 week visit in Bengaluru. There is no better place in the world than Koramangala. It has a different vibe altogether. I also visited the India Sweet House couple of days ago and relished the Lychee Rabdi that you highly recommended. Thank you for this wonderful vlog and tour of Koramangala. Definitely made me feel teary eyed. I will show this to my friends abroad and show them how truly wonderful Koramangala is.

Places like Jukebox, Peep In , Old Koramangala Club where I hung out often, Archies, Friends Fast Food, Pizza Delight near Bethany’s, Shastri Bakery, Sitar hotel in BDA complex and many many more such places. Those were the days. If you do plan to visit Australia sometime in the future , let’s meet Kripal. I used to visit Koramangala a lot as a kid and had several family stayovers at my fathers friends house in 5th block between the 70s to 90s. I left Bangalore and India around that time and recently drove through Koramangala on my way to Pondicherry by car. Stopping over for breakfast. It was completely unrecognisable and I had no idea where I was. Even watching your videos I vaguely could figure out. Do continue these neighbourhood vlogs. I used to pride myself as knowing Bangalore like the back of my hand. But in 20 years it’s gone through a lot.

Absolutely loved this one. I lived in Kormangla in one of the PG accommodations in the late 90s. I remembered the Raheja Residency and Arcade so thanks for taking us through those areas. But the landscape has definitely changed. I remember that Koramngla outside of summer months ths was literally swamped with mosquitoes. Just horrible.

1. Just saw one of my clients office there in 3rd block Anyway, these days it doesn't really matter where they are . I had never seen that office before. In fact I didn't quite realize that they are in Bangalore!! 2. Raheja Residency is quite old. I guess one of the older properties in Koramangala. 3. I think Bangalore was never a city of apartments. The apartment thing started from Marathalli? 4. However, 20 years back if you checked out Sankar Mutt Road and Basavanagudi on the other side of the city , you would have spotted more Bungalows. (of course Jayanagar) 5. It's all a change. Don't know good or bad. 20 years back I used to crave for tall buildings in Bangalore. Now, when i don't live there, but a wiser me got to know, understand and respect the south Indian culture, I truly feel Bangalore should have been stuck in time. 5. I think the only theater that played any Hindi movie was Galaxy in DT. And I didn't know a pub or a night club that would play any Bollywood. I think all has changed now. 6. More importantly Purple Haze Residency Road has shut down. 7. Hey Kripal, do you remember Casa Picola..it was opposite Bishop Cotton . And I think they also has a branch in Indiranagar CMH Road. 8. On Shankar Mutt Road, we had this really old couple (ajja and ajji) living in the next house. They had a Maruti van. I was friends with the Driver They were so simple. Then I heard that both their children are working in NASA! Crazy right?!

6:07 that is not good news. My bikes tyre blew on a single lane highway after 2 puncture fixes being a tube tyre, was stuck in a small town and fortunately could get some help a couple of kms away. Please replace at the earliest

Bangalore is a nice place place, because of its greenery. Koromangala(Bangalore) have changed a lot looking back to our days in the 1984's... My guardians are in Cox Town, when I saw it in 2007, I saw many changes. MG Roads, Brigade Roads were well known to us boarders. They have changed a lot. Boarders used to watch film in REX Cinema Hall every year. I still remember that we watched "Black Beard Ghost' in 1985, if I'm not mistaken. I miss Bangalore so much.

Sathya's is still in Kormangala! They've shifted in the same street at Hole in the Wall Cafe, just a bit ahead of them. Still the best place for sports night and cheap eats to catch up with friends over a few beers!

Raheja arcade was the only big building earlier called by people as Raheja building.Sri Milk factory was located opp.i feel uncomfortable in Koramangala as it looks more modern.& Posh

Hi kripal sir Towards Koramangala 1st block there is a eatery called New ambur biriyani point It's one of The best ambur biriyani in Bengaluru and you must try it. The biryani is spicy and the kebabs are juicy As a proud Koramangala boy , this is the only recommendation i would say which everyone loves in and around Koramangala.

Hello, I am your subscriber from a long time and almost watch all your videos. This post today has actually made me reach out to you. I have stayed in Koramangala for 7 years (from 2007 to 2014) and at different places. I stayed in 4th block opposite Maharaja hotel, 3rd block in Kudremukh colony, 5th block near kormangala club and 8th block near Robert Bosch. I am settled in Pune now but this video is so so nostalgic as I could relate everything that you have mentioned. We have dined in Satya's Cafe, hole in the wall, Garmin restaurant in Raheja arcade, midnight dosas in Empire etc etc. Also I remember this office which you mentioned is owned by Rahul Dravid. I think even Ashok Soota stayed in the same lane, if I am not wrong. Thank You Kripal for this video !!

Now that you got new shoes to ur Harley, I would suggest to do a ride from bangalore to mangalore via Chikmagaluru and mangalore to bangalore via madikere. Nice rout to ride during rainy n winter season. Don't know if u do long rides or not.

Hello Kripal garu, love your vlogs. Don’t drive that beautiful bike with a plug, replace the plug with a patch and plug done from inside the tire. Ultimately replace the tire. Plugs are not safe at all.

Looks like it’s been a while since I posted a comment on this channel . This was an interesting and wonderful Vlog . I didn’t quite comprehend in the beginning as to why you started your Sunday ride so late in the day . Though you did mention about work but need to go back to some other KA MV’s to figure out the reason . What I like about you is your relentless pursuit of passion and commitment. Just because you had a flat you didn’t give up ( though it might have taken the mickey out of you ) but temporarily fixed the 450 Kg Gentle monster 😀 till it was properly fixed by a noble soul in Mr Balachander ( very rare indeed to find such people ) . To be candid though I enjoy your long ride with your friends, this short trip within Koramangala was spectacular. You weren’t rambling but your commentary is so immersive that we could also literally smell the foliage and appreciate the aesthetic structures of the U Swanky Koramangala . The best part was that you introduced a connection to most of the places during your ride , be it your place of worship , your daughter’s school , the Koramangala club and finally culminating into your erstwhile office space wherein your landlord was The Wall . I think its Kebab Corner on 100 Feet Road near ooty chocolate road (4th block, 8th main road). It opened back in the late 80s. It was quite popular back then.
