I had Omicron even though I had 2 shots of Moderna. My employer put me in a vehicle with an infected person for 7 hours. We continued to work 10 days out of town. Mask didn't help. Upon returning, I was fired after 2 weeks of quarantine at home and a clean pcr test.

We have been very fortunate that we’ve only had one “possible” exposure. Luckily, we have escaped it so far. It’s also weird to be almost a year in working with colleagues I’ve never met in person.

When I had it, I stayed home. The doctor said I go in to ER, but Dad had just died there, so... My friends left supplies and food on my porch. And then I did the same porch runs when other people got sick.

OMG Clothy snoring... too funny 😆. My husband and I had to quartine 3x because he was exposed to it at work. The first two times we were fine, the last time after almost 2 years of being careful, (especially me because I rarely left the house and could count on one hand how many times I would go out every month) we got it but he was exposed by one of his friends too so we think he got it from him and brought it home. Thank goodness for grocery and food delivery! I bought a brand new car on March 3rd 2020 and we went into the nationwide lockdown I believe on March 17th. I have less than 6k miles on my car because I've been working from home since then and I have had the car for 2 years now in two days. Crazy... I'm sorry you missed Christmas with your family. It was hard enough with the limitations we had with a gathering to see friends and family over the holidays but to not be able to be with your spouse and child on such a major holiday really stinks. Especially since your daughter is at such a great age for Christmas. I'm glad you are feeling better now!

Myself I have been holed up in an apartment for 2 years to avoid Covid, only going out for curbside pickup of prepared meals from an Italian restaurant and curbside pickup of groceries at Superstore. Have barely put 2500 km on my car all this time. Only in the last couple months going to the mall. And I got my three shots.

Newfoundlander here. I've never heard of a quarantine hotel. In saying that, I'm in a very rural area, so if you're sick, you can easily avoid people outside your home. I spent 7 days at home and lots of time shoveling snow in my yard. Walks at 6 am when absolutely no one else is out in the bitter cold. Public Health wouldn't test me for covid as I don't work with vulnerable people or in a hospital/childcare setting. I didn't know where to get a test on my own and I have no family nearby. I was basically told that because I have mild symptoms, that I need to assume that I have it and isolate 7 days. I kept busy and worked as best I could at home during the day. Keeping a normal sleep schedule and keeping busy is absolutely needed! Unless you really sick, then you need rest 😴 I should add, I was due for a grocery trip when I had to quarantine, but luckily I'm a very prepared person with dried, bottled, and frozen goods, and had an extra tub of milk and eggs tge week before. I never considered ordering food delivery. I actually ate pretty well.
