Just add another 2¢: After buying lots of organic bulk flour at a ritzy health food store, bringing it home to my daughter (amazing cook with MCS [Multiple Chemical Sensitivity]), she was instantly sick with the smell of the bulk soaps from the next aisle. I had to get it out of the house and take it back. I explained it wasn't really safe organic if it was compromised by supposedly safe soap smells. Would the bread taste like soap? Though they took it back, they have not addressed this weurd issue so we found another source on-line. The chemical toxins are covering our country. My kid can no longer go out in public cuz too many ignoramooses are using too much of these forever toxins in their laundry products. Did you know those plug-in perfumes are worse than second hand smoke? We bought land so as to get away from a stinky humanity. The only cure for MCS is to stay away from the smells. (The toxic molecules stay and shed and stay and stay ) I did not vote for the orange guy, but RFK jr. Is aware of the U.S.A's disgusting food, etc., allowances. I guess we'll see, huh? That was way more than 2¢. I'm old and maybe a bit forgivable. Please pray for our country. We seem doomed. Best to all. 💚

My girlfriend came up to Canada and was absolutely in love with out chocolate. Coffee crisp is her favorite. She was so surprised when I told her about how we call ours chocolate bars because we legally can, whereas the american ones don't have enough cocoa in them to be considered chocolate. Whenever she heads back to visit she brings a collection of bars for her family and they always love it.

No surprise there. Healthcare is free in Canada, so there is no incentive in making its citizens sick on the food they eat. The usa, though, sells food that you can barely call food, so people grow sick and have no choice but to get extorted by medical care.

Why is food healthier in other countries? Does our government not care about its citizen's health? They put things in our food in the U.S. that is banned in foreign countries. For example, high fructose corn syrup and color dyes.

Not sure what the point is. Spreading chemophobia, or the fear that american food is inherently unhealthy. Fearmongering for likes i guess.

I'm sorry but how is this "interesting"? You have like 46 things you can't put into food, they have over 2000 in a lot of Europe. It's common sense, no need to play it up for the camera.

Kit Kats are my favourite. Recently when in Vegas I bought a KitKat not realizing they so different. However after a single bite it was easy to tell. The American KitKat was disgustingly sweet and I couldn’t stomach it, even my husband who has a big sweet tooth would not eat it. It went right into the trash where it belonged.

the secret to making tim hortons coffee taste better is to pour it down the sink and buy a Mcdonalds coffee instead.

I shouldn't eat the Canadian version because I have mild reaction to stevia. Nothing that would cause hospitalization but it's not pleasant for an hour or two. As I dont care for Fruit Loops anyway, it's not a big loss for me. However it is interesting to see to different between the same brand and the two countries.
