The vast majority of these nodules were bought or exchanged for other fossils. The preparation, as you will imagine, is a matter of many hours of work and a lot of patience. To make the preparation I use a pneumatic firing pin. Lately I've acquired a sandblast, but I'm still adapting to it. There are crabs that take more than 150 hours of preparation.
