The Pez Hippo comes from their safari animal collection. The had the Hippo, Elephant, Koala, Crocodile and two Lions. They also had crystal versions. Shame it wasn't the Landerbank Hippo though haha

If goodwill gets something donated they think is even a little valuable , they send it to their auction site. Stuff that they think is a little valuable, they overprice in the stores. The only way to find good things at the store for a reasonable price is to have more knowledge than their store managers. So you kind of have to be looking for the more obscure and less obvious gems.

Those vintage glasses kept their bright color that well because some of the paint was often toxic. So…maybe it’s a good shelf piece.

@TopPops I hope you don't plan on or have been using those Great Muppet Caper or Shrek McDonald's glasses you brought up in the video and that you wash your hands thoroughly after each time you handle them. A lot of promotional glasses sold at McDonald's in the 70's and 80's (those Muppet Caper glasses included) were found to contain higher than 50% levels of lead in the paint and those McDonald's Shrek glasses from the 00's were recalled for containing high levels of Cadmium in the paint. For display on a shelf they are probably fine, but you'll want to minimize direct human skin exposure as much as possible. Maybe they make some sort of protector (similar to Pop protectors) specific for collectible glassware.
