I can never get enough of these MotoVlogs with that trusty 'lil Iron. Thanks Shawn!

My old commute was 49 miles and depending on traffic traffic took 1 hr 15-30 min. Six days a week. Fortunately most of it was through the countryside. Be careful of those trucks. We were following one this weekend that blew a rear tire and showered everyone with chunks of tire. We were caging so no worries. Thanks for the ride along.

I always enjoy watching your MotoVlogs, but I have to confess the Iron Vlogs are always my favorite. I am partial to the Iron since I almost bought one a few months ago, but ended up going with a Forty Eight. Thanks for the videos Shawn, stay safe!

I've got a thing for woody smell too. I used to work in a woodmil, carpentry and construction. So the smell of wood brings up all thoses good memories. Birch tree, cedar, evergeen of all kinds, and the smelly summer day feets red oak.

I hate being behind semis because of all the buffeting, but on a windy day being beside them can give you a break for a bit. I was hit by a rock the other day right in the kneecap, bout had to pull over it hurt so bad. couldnt breathe for couple min.........lol

I know how you feel about riding weather. Here in the deserts of Southern California, it's the direct opposite here. Can't ride when it's 120° in the summer. We rejoice when it's upper 60s thru low 80s in the winter.
@OtisENGINEuity8 жыл бұрын
+Ryan Enstad ain't just the desert, up here in the Sacramento Valley it easily hits 110-115 most summers and it's like being in a blast furnace, even heat out gear wouldn't help because it'd dry too quick.
@ryanenstad89288 жыл бұрын
+OtisENGINEuity yea. I hear ya. I just bought quite a few hot weather Harley cooling gear. Not much can help with the incredible temps we get. 110°+ for 6 whole months. We're crying for winter by September and rejoicing in November when we can get back on our bikes. Ride safe!!

Ryan Enstad would if I had a bike :P I used to pack with my dad when I was shorter than him. I haven't been on a bike in 16 years and I'm dying for my first. But then I know the hell of how hot it is from riding on a bicycle and every vehicle I've owned up to my bronco didn't have AC so you got that great blast furnace driving anywhere.

I just bought my 2016 Iron 883! Thanks for all the awesome Iron vids throughout the years Shawn! Any advice to give about the screaming eagle pipes or what wind shield I should get for hwy driving? I have 60 days to get it installed and still be under warranty.

That's a long ride to work on that sportser. It still has to wear you down driving on the freeway.

on my canadian trip to the east coast the salt rain by the coast was a killer half way around the Cabot trail my key switch died from the salt rain 3 out of 4 bikes had electrical problems . The only one that did not was an enduro DR650 the salt rain killed the rest in one way or another

hey Shawn! man, I hate to plague you with noob questions, but where did you get the fairing, and how do I go about moving the brake and clutch levers? they sit too high from the factory.

Have you driven without the windshield? If so, do you notice a significant difference?

Your big mistake going to Yosemite is you took WAY too many freeway miles on your trip through this screwy state. The trick is to spend the fuel and stay in the foothills down the length of the state. If you get out of the foothills you lose all cool roads and all views. The valley has nothing to offer.
