I just started playing the game a month or so ago. I enjoy playing both roles; however, in my opinion the game is slanted towards the killer. Either that or I’m a terrible survivor. Either way games I’m just messing around as the killer I can usually secure a 4k if I wanted to.

As killers have pretty diverse kit - from aura reading, anti-healing and anti-items to opressive chases, anti-looping, exposed- and obliviousness shenanigans, it is hard for starting survivors to adapt. As you become better and more efficient at survivor - start hugging corners tighter, learn to recognize good and bad loops, spending more time on gens and less on self-healing/hiding/chest-searching/standing around, you start to exert more pressure on each killer, independent of his power/addons/perks combinations - and as your ranks climb up, so is your teammates, and they stop messing around as well. In the 1v4 the synergistic nature of survivors' skills improvement is most likely outpacing the skills of a single killer in a medium run, while most player won't hit those 2k+ hours.

These videos have reignited my love for Huntress. She’s been my main the entire time I’ve played DBD and I just love the satisfaction of a cross-map snipe. I have yet to hit my orbital hatchets, but I’ve been practicing in my games. I’ve gotten close and scared a couple people because they moved out of the way. Remember all you new orbital players (myself included): just because your orbital didn’t get a hit, it doesn’t mean that you missed!

Fr. Some of the most common perks are gen regression/defense and aura reading. You don’t need to learn a bunch of others just learn those

Regarding RPD offering, I try to be at least somewhat merciful because of the achievement tied to the map. Survivors are required to escape the map 20 times AND have to be the one to open the exit gate. So when I get the map I tend to spare 2 survivors and make sure they open both gates When someone brings offering, I see how they play. If they’re tryhard, yeah they can die. But it could also be someone going for achievements, because 20 escapes on that map is INSANE

@@natasrules that new scourge hook perk is useless. We don’t need to see gens with most progression on it. If it showed aura when hooking on a non scourge hook it would have brought a lot of value. Making any hooking or unhooking aura are reveals.

Orbitals IMO are boring, not flashy, and not very showing of skill. They may be fun, but they’re not interesting to me personally and never will be.
