I said this when they announced this year's launch date. That's it was to early that they didn't give themselves enough time to iron out the finishing touches. These companies need to stop releasing unfinished games then just updating the hell out of them. Just finish the damn games then put them out. Thanks EA for starting to destroy a beloved game series.

There is another bug in communicating to the race engineer where sometimes i can't even talk to him unless I close the game and restart it which does get annoying too.

This video perfectly describes how ea is at the moment, the current state of f1 is similar to eafc24, fc24 is a mess at the moment due to bad gameplay and micro transactions. Same issue with the Haas colour on the mini-map, except with VCARB. VCARB is the same colour on the mini-map as last years AlphaTauri, even if they have changed it, the colour is nowhere the actual colour of the new RB livery.

Not surprising tbh, when I was playing F2 in F1 22, the HWA team was still pink on the minimap and even still had the BWT logo on the screen when you're sat in the garage. So they tend to overlook or just not change a ton of smaller stuff even when it's obvious

Conclusion, don't buy until the price went down dramatically and at least 6 months down for all the bug fixing, if it doesn't, then avoid it like a plague. Or, just save all the trouble, and play F1 2020.

In sprint qualifying a lot of cars are using soft tires in sq1 and sq2. While irl the drivers are forced to use the mediums in sq1 and sq2

A small bug I noticed on the Canada track was if you took too much of the left hand side curb on turn 11 on the exit of the turn 10 hairpin it would launch your car into the air. Like a full 10-15 ft off the ground.

As far as bugs go so far it's just ERS just flicking between overtake and medium constantly I can't just switch from medium to overtake and have it stay at overtake Also the mechanics didn't fix my front wing even though I had it set to auto so idk if setting it to yes will fix it or if they just don't fix your wing in general You've mentioned the other bugs I've had so apart from the 2 mentioned its all good

problem with packs also stems from drs being enabled after the first lap rather than after lap 2, the pace deficit between the AIs themselves is too small for any of them to lose DRS

Main bug I have seen is the delta time just consistently says I'm going way faster in qualifying. I'll be half way through a lap and the delta says I'm 21 seconds faster than my previous lap

How does an £89.99 game get released in this state? Who at Codemasters/EA signed this off and said it was good enough for release? I get that the odd bug can happen and players will push the game to limits that developers may not anticipate, but bugs as straight forward as loading a wet race and not being able to select wet tyres is just disgraceful! I had a bug where Lewis Hamilton did Japan (the whole track) during qualifying in under a minute so he was ahead of everyone by 30 seconds. (Also welcome to the world of EA, when they have no comparison to their sports games they don’t take testing seriously in my opinion since the higher-ups want the game out to make sure they hit the bottom line. Yea you can tell me “well EA has done this and that” but if they did there wouldn’t be as many issues as there is and this across all their sports games. There was a time when EA cared about shit, I just don’t think they do anymore but this is my rant and thank you)

Me also especially the wet to drying track physics , even when intermediates are better, outside the racing line a lot of the time is still too wet… hadca race last on silverstone, and changed to inters, snd was several seconds faster than the rest of the field who still on wets , but i still had problems to overtake them because of the line it was still very wet, and `I wasnt annoyed , I was very happy, in earlier games i felt outside the line it dried as quickly as on the racingline ) and overtaking was too easy ..

The thing that has really annoyed me on this game, is they gave us 1 helmet and 1 livery...they've locked everything behind a paywall, be it the 'store' or the 'podium pass'. Its the greediest F1 game I've ever seen.

I experienced a lot of this in 1 race. Saudi it was raining I couldn't switch at start so boxed after lap 1 burnt out my inters. Also collision between me bottas stroll I got spun around they broke their wings no safety car and I could not catch them even though they had broken front wings

I kept having the rear axel completely lock up at slow speed corners, or I’d touch a curb, go flying off, not able to warm my tyres like at all on the formation lap even with mad swerving I sold the game after 1 day because it was like this past year, game was shocking when it came out if I see the patches work I’ll re buy but until then 🤷🏻‍♂️

I wasn’t sure if it was a bug but I did like 14 laps on hards in a 50% race at Jeddah and ended up with about 10% tyre wear and ended up 4th in a Haas. Either it was a bug or I’m a tyre whisperer 🤣
