OMGGGG LEAH YOU SAVED MY HAIRRR!!!!!! I wish you can hear how I excited I am but allll curly girls know that feeling when you bout to have THE BOMBESSSSSTTTTT WASHNGO EVERRR!!! You just know it as soon as you put the products on! But anyways my hair recently has been hellaaa dry and none of my staples were really working for my hair... I’ve been no silicone no sulfate for 6 mos and I’ve tried to stay away from it but idk I think my hair likes silicone cause my gosh it gives it the right amount of moisture that my hair needs. I didn’t do everything you did in the video simply because I don’t have the yogurt line nor the Maui moisture masque or moose (but I’m def getting them) but I did the leave in and the style milk and OMGGGGG!!!!!! Today (3.8.18) my hair is FLOURISHING 😍😍😍😍 I’m in loveeeeeeee so thank you soooo muchhhhhh for sharing an update version cause girl you did thatttt!!!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 💕 - a vegan curly girl from Virginia 🐢🌱

Just to let you know, directly heating oils by microwaving or putting on the stove can remove some of the nutrients. It's best to put the amount of oil you are going to use in a seperate container and put that container into another container with hot tap water. And leave in until the oil is melted as desired.

Great video, Leah! I haven’t done a coconut oil mask on my dry & dirty hair since 2015, and it used to work, but I don’t think it doesn’t anymore since my hair needs more now. I tried SheaMoisture JBCO Strengthen Grow & Restore Shampoo back in 2014, but my hair & scalp didn’t care for it, so it’s still sitting in my cabinet probably expired. I need to throw it out this month sometime soon. I started using SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Style Milk back in summer 2013, loved it back then but didn’t care for the buildup on my scalp it caused, and just threw it out last month since it expired. I am continuing to declutter & organize my hair products collection this week which I acquired starting back in May 2013. I haven’t used Design Essentials Curl Enhancing Mousse since 2016, but still love using it on my hair for flat twists and cornrow braids. My hair is continuing to get more defined since I rarely straighten my hair since doing my big chop in May 2013.

I just did a wash and go and I did the same method for pre pooing. It was soooooo easy to detangle in the shower I didn’t even use my conditioner so I’m gonna be doing that for a pre poo from now on and I used that same shampoo and I used the Aussie 3 minute miracle and I love it but I’ve been wanting to try using less silicones so I’m on a hunt for new products.

my hair hated that mousse! my hair loves cheap mousse for some reason! i love the carols daughter pracaxi foam , lotta body foam wrap and creme of nature coconut milk mousse! and same thing happened to me with the sm coconut products as well, my hair hated the smoothie but i used them last year and my hair loves it now.

Be careful how much protein you put in your hair. Protein treatments are usually a once in awhile thing. Especially since your hair is healthy and has no heat or color damage.

Jadayson everyone is sooooo different especially when it comes to hair. I use protein products on my virgin natural hair every wash and use silicone based leave ins after. And my hair has never been better. Meanwhile if my sister used my routine her hair would break off in the tub. I just say if it works why stop, you know?
