I'm in my early 40's and have been 40% gray since I was in my late 20's. What I notice is that my grey curls are completely different from my black curls. My black curls are sleek with lots of shine and definition, whereas my grey curls situated mainly in my crown lack shine (perhaps due to the fact that I need to be using different products in that area) and are very loose waves. It's frustrating to have two different kinds of curls at the same time. I look forward to the day when I have all grey curls. Thanks for sharing your routine! This helps.

A. Smith genetics. Most people who gray early have family members that did as well. Nothing weird about it

@@ASmith-jn7kf Its all about genetics really. My father was almost 60% grey in his early 30's and his mother was 100% grey by her late 40's. I have more grey than my mother who is 68 lol. Also, my husband was 50% grey since he was in his late 20's. His mother was 100% grey by her mid 30's. We expect our little girl will go grey early too.

Love your hair! I also use the Decadence One Conditioner.....although, I thought it was a rinse out conditioner verses a leave in??? I personally can't leave it in my hair. It becomes itchy and irritated. I'll be 40 in May! We're fab!
