I love this method. I have thin, fine hair and I don't like the parts that perm rods leave. I am going to try this method. If you don't like the spikes on the rods try wrapping them first with end papers. You can get those at any beauty supply store.

Wow I love this style I am going to try it. My question to you is after you blow dry your hair and add water based ingredients like kinky curly knot today and the eco styler gel, I am afraid my hair will revert back kinky after just blowdrying it. What are your thoughts on that? Should i just use a tiny amount of gel and kinky curly or use just only oil based products after the blowdry?

roll it up before the product settles in and everything will be fine. and make sure you roll them taut .
