I got a few of the red squirrel brushes and red fox brushes from shoushoulang and quinzi They are some of my softest and most beautiful and amazing to use brushes jeez. I love them more then a lot of my Japanese Fude ... Mind blowing the cost difference

Catching up on all your videos again!! ❤❤❤ so many good videos I’ve missed out on. I really love the koyomo round barrel eye brush I use it with this Armani neon use eye blush shade in the crease and all over shade in 22 and its so easy to work with. I don’t have the one you have but will have to pick it up :) you have the best recommendations always :) my eye makeup is improving thanks to all your recommendations with the hakuhodo btw.

It’s good to have you back. I’ve been using the round koyomo eye brush recently. It’s nice but I really like the pinched one. I love hearing how your makeup is going on better 😊

The kayureido eyebrush ferrule and design reminds me of the shiseido natural hair brushes that they came out with a few years back I think there were grey squirrel

Thank you so much. It's the Natasha Denona blush in the Love face palette. It's beautiful. I has a very cool tone. Kinda reminds me of the Dior rosy glow in cream form

Hi Tracy, what is the difference between weasel and kolinsky hair? I’ve never figured that out but I’ve never tried a weasel hair brush. Also curious to know whether you will be getting the chikuhodo x beautylish brush set that is launching on Tuesday. Do you think it’s worth it?

Hi Julie. So Kolinsky is a type of weasel. I don't know how much of a difference it makes when it comes to the hairs. I think the reason for the price difference is because Kolinsky comes from specific areas making it difficult to acquire. I am interested in the Beautylish release especially since I havent made a big brush purchase for a while. I think it's priced right if the quality matches other Chikuhodo Beautylish collabs. For me personally- it doesnt make sense because the shapes are basic and will be redundant so I'm not 100% on board.

@@brushjunkie6384 I didn’t know kolinsky was a type of weasel, thank you for explaining that to me. It’s going to be much easier now while browsing for new weasel/kolinsky hair brushes for packing on shimmer shadows on my eyes. And I agree with you on the Chickuhodo x beautylish release. They reached out to me for the pre order but I wasn’t sure so I ended up not preordering it. Still not sure as I L’d rather save and get those beautiful Bysiodo grand series brushes which I’ve been eyeing for a while now. The blending brush you have looks absolutely beautiful and this series looks so well made and I think it’s worth it. I also want to pick up the Tanseido highligh brush but the one with squirrel hair as I would love to use it to tone down my highlighter

I'm happy to clear that up for you. For performance- Weasel is equal to Kolinsky and some even prefer weasel so save yourself some $$. I've been seriously considering the Chikuhodo set coming out tomorrow and if so I will get a video up ASAP. I'm noticing these LE brushes havent been selling out right away so hopefully you will have more time to think about it. That Tanseido brush would make a great highlight brush in squirrel hair. Let me know if you end up getting one then I might pick one up.

@@FudezenI find weasel bristles tips to feel finer and smoother in my opinion. Most of mine are from Takeda and some from Hakuhodo. I prefer weasel hair for my eye brushes but love the kolinsky for certain eye shapes too. All of my face brushes are kolinsky bristles so very similar in it’s application as weasel. The differences are very minute to someone just starting out in this hair type. But since I have a wide variation of shapes and sizes, I am just being nit picky.

How would you compare Bisoyudo B_ES- 08 to Hakuhodo G5522?

I wouldn’t say these brushes are comparable. The g5522 is a large blender while the b-es-08 is a short liner brush.

Got it that makes more sense. They are shaped different and the Hakuhodo has goat hair as well. The G-B-01 is more rounded while the G5522 is more tapered. The G-B-01 is more closely like the G5533 but much better in many ways. Hope this helps
